This phone is big, light, and easy to use. I bought it for my son and he loves it. Everything works well and running smoothly with all the games he already downloaded.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Magpie87,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with your Galaxy A16 5G. Wi-Fi challenges can sometimes arise from simple network fluctuations. However, there may be occasions when additional steps are needed to ensure a stable connection. This could involve re-adding the Wi-Fi connection or assigning a static IP address.
Let's begin with some basic troubleshooting. Here are the steps to reset the network settings on your phone or tablet:
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap on "General management."
3. Select "Reset."
4. Tap on "Reset network settings."
5. If you're experiencing difficulties with your mobile connection, you can also tap "Reset Mobile Network Settings."
6. Next, tap "Reset settings." You may be prompted to enter your security credentials.
7. Finally, tap "Reset" to confirm the action.
For further troubleshooting steps, please refer to the article "Galaxy phone or tablet Wi-Fi connection guide," linked below. If you need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our Samsung Support Team. We are here to help, and thank you for choosing Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous model of this phone and ot was great! Lasted a really long time. I switched to this newer model and the first time I drop it the phone screen completely shattered. I was definitely disappointed.

This phone is fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung A16 5G for a couple of weeks now, and it’s honestly been a pleasant surprise for a budget device. The first thing I noticed was the display—it’s a good size, and while it doesn’t have the sharpness of flagship screens, it gets plenty bright and is easy on the eyes when I’m scrolling through social media or watching YouTube.
Performance-wise, it handles my daily routine just fine. I mostly use it for messaging, calls, Instagram, and some light gaming (like Candy Crush or Subway Surfers). It rarely slows down, though if I jump between too many apps quickly, there’s a bit of lag, but that’s something I expected at this price point.
Battery life is probably the standout feature for me. I can go a day and a half without worrying about charging, even when I’m using 5G and keeping my brightness set pretty high. Charging isn’t super fast, but if I plug it in before bed, it’s ready to go by morning.
The camera does its job for the basics—I’ve taken some nice outdoor shots, and the portraits look clear in good light. Night photos aren’t great, but that’s about par for the course with budget phones. Selfies look decent, and video calls have been crisp over 5G.
One UI Core is smooth and familiar, and I appreciate having the Samsung ecosystem features. 5G connectivity is a plus, even if I don’t always notice a huge difference in speed compared to 4G. Still, it’s nice knowing the phone is future-proofed for a few years.
Overall, the Samsung A16 5G is a solid buy
