Samsung A16 is not as responsive as thephone I had

It's still Android 14.
The phones I had are more responsive.

It comes with outstanding battery life but does seem to lack in the performance aspects only offering up to 4gb of ram. But even with it downsides the A16 is good for people looking for a basic new phone

RAM Plus will use some of your phone's storage space to give you up to 8GB of virtual memory. With the RAM Plus feature on your Galaxy phone. You can select how much internal storage to use as virtual memory to improve app performance. In your phone's Settings, from Battery, go to Device care, tap RAM Plus and ensure the switch is turned on. Then, tap the amount of GB you'd like to allow and tap Restart when prompted to restart your phone with your desired setting. With more memory, you can open more apps in the background and launch apps faster. Learn more about RAM Plus, and how to use it in the article “What is RAM Plus and How to Use It?” linked provided.
