This is the best product I have had over the year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The A16 features a hard plastic frame with what Samsung calls Glastic—a plastic that mimics glass—on the front and back. The Glastic gives the A16 a finer look than its predecessor, and its fit and finish are also improved, but it doesn't match the seamless metal-and-glass design of the high-end Galaxy S line. The front is dominated by a large screen surrounded by a thick bezel.
Samsung has added some protection to its entry-level device, which is a welcome change. The Galaxy A16 has an IP54 rating, which means it can handle dust and moderate splashing with water. The Best Phone with One Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy A16 is a solid budget device with impressive features for its price, but it’s not without flaws. One of the standout additions is the inclusion of Galaxy AI, which brings smart photo editing, real-time translation, and more—features typically reserved for Samsung’s higher-end models. While Galaxy AI adds real value and enhances usability, the phone’s performance can sometimes lag during intensive AI tasks.
However, a major drawback is the fingerprint scanner. Many users report inconsistent performance, with the scanner frequently failing to recognize fingerprints or responding slowly. This becomes frustrating, especially when trying to unlock the device quickly. While software updates may improve this over time, it currently hinders the overall experience.
Despite these issues, the A16 still offers good value with a nice display, decent battery life, and modern software. If Samsung can resolve the fingerprint issues, this device would be a top contender in its class.
