I have avoided purchasing a food sealer because my space is limited and I thought it would be too bulky. This petite version is perfect! I can now have the convenience of vacuum sealed food without the unit storage worries.

I had a much older model (15+ years) prior. I'm amazed by the difference in size! This model is very slim compared to the older model and the precut bags make a quick seal even easier. While I was sorry my older model quit, I'm very happy with this smaller model.

Thank you for letting us know that your FoodSaver® Everyday Vacuum Sealer with Precut Bags seems to seal but isn’t actually pulling the air out of your bags, we understand how frustrating that can be when you’re trying to preserve food effectively. Often this happens when the bag isn’t positioned correctly in the vacuum channel, there are wrinkles or folds at the open end that prevent a tight seal, or the open end isn’t far enough past the sealing strip for the unit to draw air properly; smoothing the bag and making sure it’s aligned can improve performance. It’s also important to use bags designed for vacuum sealing, keep the sealing area clean and dry, and check that the gaskets and vacuum channel are free of debris so the unit can create the proper suction. If you’ve tried those steps and it still won’t evacuate air, it could be an issue with the internal vacuum mechanism or a worn gasket.
