This product is not as advertised!!!

My rating is based upon what they advertised versus what I got. They advertised the Foodsaver VS3130 as Stainless Steel, it's not. It's silver plastic and looks like crap amongst my other stainless steel appliances. They advertised this as having the Sous Vide vacuum mode; it doesn't. It was one of the main reasons I ordered this vacuum sealer.
I tried to submit a complaint to them through their website, but after spending half an hour filling out their form and searching for the required "date code", I submitted the form and it came back as try again later. Form erased. Twice.

Very big help!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple weeks ago and all I can give is a big big thums up for this amazing product! Very very easy to operate and it is indeed a big help to those gardeners like me that needs to save up the harvested veggies for winter consume. It does it's job and it does have two free rolls of plastic saver that is also a plus. Does it's job pretty well, the vacuum, seal and all. Very very happy for this product!

Just what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Food Saver is just what my family needed. We purchase meat in bulk and freeze if for future use. Before I got the Food Saver our meat would get freezer burned. Now with this truly fabulous product we will not have to throw out freezer burned meat! It will save us sooooo much money. This is so easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This foodsaver is awesome. Its very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I love that it has a handheld vacuum with it and that you can buy jars to use with it. Its a little big and can take up some space but still overall a great item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first foodsaver an i haven't had it very long but i have already used it many times. It was very easy to use and I love the built in handheld sealer it is also easy to use. I use it for zipper bags and containers but you can also use it for canisters, jar sealers, bottle stoppers, and quick marinators. There's only one thing that could be better an that is when making a foodsaver bag you have to make the bags a lot bigger then you need or you will not be able to vacuum seal the bags. So having to make the bags bigger you are wasting a lot of your bag material that's my only issue.

Great Quality

After many failed attempts I was able to get the hang of it and it marinated my chicken perfectly! I was surprised because normally when I marinate chicken it doesn’t come out as seasoned but you could definitely taste it this time.

Easy to use and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This foodsaver is a lifesaver when it comes to putting away my leftovers. I found it confusing at first but after the first couple of uses it became extremely easy and familiar to use. The only thing is the vacuum seal when doing by hand is a bit complicated since you have to position it in the right whole.
I would recommend this to a friend!
