[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a classic game that my kids have enjoyed. They are 8 and 6 so it keeps their attention for just enough time. We like it because of the cognitive training it provides plus they make a little contest out of it. Simple game but easy to grasp.

Classic Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy to learn that this SIMON GAME is still available for purchase after all these years! My adult sons & I have some really good memories of the fun they had playing it when they were younger. Now I can enjoy watching their children test their skills. Game play is simple, yet challenging. The object of the game is to see how well and how long you can repeat the randomized patterns of light and sound by pushing on the 4 different colored sections of the game face. Once it’s turned on, the Green section will flash until you push on it, initiating the start of game play. One of the 4 different colored sections will light up and make a beeping noise. You must push on that section as quickly as possible to continue to the next round. SIMON will automatically create a new round of lit up, beeping sections in a random pattern and you must again repeat the pattern Exactly as it was given. Each new round is more challenging than the one before it. If the pattern is Not duplicated exactly as given, SIMON will sound a distinct series of beeps indicating that the session has ended. The fact that playing SIMON stimulates eye-hand coordination, while exercising the player’s memory, makes it an awesomely fun game for All age groups. It can be played alone or with any number of players. Instructions are included. They state that the volume can be adjusted to 2 different levels, however, I was unable to detect any difference between the two settings. The game is powered by 3 AAA Batteries which are included. You will need a very small screwdriver to access the battery compartment when they need to be replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is as classic as the original. The volume can be adjusted by pushing the power button a few times which is always appreciated. The game is for 8+ years but my four year old is an ace at this. It's a good memory challenge for all ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never actually had it myself as a child, but bought it now for my 10 year old daughter. We all had a great time playing with this ( as have friends and relatives visiting our home! ). Highly recommended.

Fun Game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Simon game brings back the classic concept of "Simon Says". The idea of this game is a pattern plays then you must remember it and replay. It is a simple concept but gets hard quickly with each turn makes for a longer sequence. My biggest complaint for this is that the tone it plays when lighting up the button is rather unpleasant. This doesn't affect the overall game and my children still have a blast playing it. I would recommend this for the suggested age of 8+ as it does get difficult but younger children may beable to play along for some time. This is a great way to have fun indoors on a rainy day. I would definitely recommend!
