Extremely fun R2-D2 toy for young kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son developed a fascination with Grogu, which has led him to become a Star Wars fan at a very young age. This imaginex R2-D2 toy is incredibly fun for him. He loves all of the hidden surprises, including the disk launcher and periscope. This toy is fun for the older genereation Start Wars fans as well. My son and his dad spend time together playing with R2D2 and his C3PO buddy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty cool for Star Wars fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good movie sounds and articulation. The disc shooter is pretty good too. Daughter likes to confuse the dog with it. The pop out arms are pretty cool and it wheels around pretty well. Daughter likes the lights and sounds.

It captures the magic of the movies while being engaging for my son. From the moment we unboxed it, the toy stood out for its great attention to detail, making it feel as though the beloved droid had stepped straight out of the films and into our living room.
The design mirrors R2-D2's iconic look with the same vivid colors, intricate panels, and recognizable sounds. The toy's movements and sounds are so authentic that it feels like you're interacting with the real character from the movies. It's not just a toy; it's like having a piece of the Star Wars universe at home.
My son and older brother, who is 24, are absolutely fascinated by it. They love pressing the buttons to hear the familiar beeps and whistles, and the toy's ability to move around adds an interactive element that keeps them entertained. The Droid You're Looking For

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little droid is chock-full of fun action features, fantastic droid details, and authentic lights and sounds. We're having a blast pretending he's the real R2-D2 and using his internal playset space to help C-3PO load the disc launcher. The elevating periscope is a great feature that didn't need to be added, but provides a lot of silly fun for a little one. The Threepio "key" itself is nice and weighty, and makes a great companion for this Astromech.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is perfect for those kids who like Star Wars! My daughter especially likes R2-D2, so I knew I had to get it. She has enjoyed the noises the toy makes and the little disk shooter, and the little metal C-3PO is pretty cute. However, she got bored with it after a little while since that’s all it really does. Regardless, it’s a good size and it looks great on the shelf with her other toys, so I imagine when she’s completely done with it, her dad will take it for his Star Wars collection, lol. Overall, it’s a cool toy.

Such a great Star Wars toy for young fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is very into Star Wars right now so we were very excited to find this new R2-D2 robot from Imaginext. He is a lot bigger than I was expecting and my son loves the little metal C3-PO that came with him. His lights and sound make for fun interactive play. My son spent hours playing with him right out of the box. I hope they release more characters the size of C3-PO so he can recreate some of his favorite movie scenes.

Awesome toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is so much fun. My kids already loved Imaginext but adding Star Wars was the best thing ever. My 4 year old daughter loves R2-D2. She was so excited when this arrived. She loves the spinning saw, the shooting disks and the realistic noises. My 9 year old son has always been a big Imaginext and Star Wars fan. He has enjoyed playing with this toy everyday since we received it. He likes that it has wheels on the bottom and can roll in any direction like R2-D2 does in the movies. The metal die cast C3PO is his favorite. My 12 and 14 year old sons have even enjoyed playing with this with their siblings. The details on this toy are amazing. We received this toy for free in exchange for our honest review. We can't wait for more Imaginext Star Wars toys to come out.

Halfway to a whole lot of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an R2D2 companion, this was a definite winner in the size category and interactive play. My 6-year-old did get a little confused that it was only half an R2D2 and that it would only roll back and forth. The playability is fine except when it comes to the disc shooter because you're supposed to be behind it. But you have to reach around the front to fire the disc which isn't exactly the easiest for a kid with how big this thing is. As a mom, I genuinely appreciate that there is a spot for the little discs to live.
