Can't get an accurate reading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great to have a thermometer at home, but I'm a little annoyed that I can't get an accurate reading out of this one. It's about .5 degrees deviation, which is annoying, but tells me the general temperature well enough for my needs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mobi DualScan Prime infrared thermometer is easy to use without being complicated with too many buttons. It's accurate every time with a large, bright, easy to read display. I mostly use it for forehead scanning my family of 8. Works great for children and adults. This thermometer has a removable cover for ear scanning. It can be used for bath water, food, bottle and room temperatures as well. There is an option for Celsius and Fahrenheit. The included batteries made ready for an instant reading straight from the package. I highly recommend this thermometer for all household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up and use. Gives temperature quickly. I like that I can use it both in the ear and on the Forehead. The buttons are straightforward and clear to understand. The light comes in handy at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been through a few digital thermometers, one from kickstarter (company went out of business), a few different types from the pharmacy... but none of them has worked so easy and consistent as the DualScan Prime. It has a quick turn on time which helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With everything going on And kids catching colds and flu, it's important to have an accurate good quality thermometer. The DualScan Prime Ear & Forehead thermometer offers accuracy and reliability, including an additional Food and Milk Bottle mode. Some of my favorite features are the bright, easy-to-read backlit display, and fast reading results.
I recommend some amateur it's usually pretty accurate every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this thermometer for about a month now. I’m not completely thrilled with it. It’s helpful when you need to quickly determine if someone has a fever, but it’s not the most accurate thermometer. Multiple passes all give varying results, which is annoying. I usually go with the one that I get the most often. I like that it is easy to use. It’s not too bulky, and doesn’t take up much space.

Perfect don't spend a bunch on something else !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great versatile thermometer for both your ear and head as well as I saw you can even test your food with it although I have yet to try! Word to the wise, make sure to read the instructions before trying. Then you may see you have to pull the plastic out of the battery's in order for it to work! My 2 youngest have been getting sick non stop this winter and this has been a big help. I had purchased many non name brand over the last 2 years that I just didn't trust. But this is name brand you can trust and that works too!

It is very user friendly and easily switches between child and adult and forehead or ear. They both are very accurate and doesn’t bother the little ones at all. I highly recommend it.
