Feels like plastic

Everyone kept saying this was the best screen protector, but I’ve used 2 in the past 2 months. First one a dent appeared on my screen. So I got another and a couple of weeks in, there are light scratches. I’ve used a screen protector for over a decade now and I’ve never gotten dents or scratches from daily use. It’s also usually lasts me 1-2 years before I had to replace it. This may be shatter proof, but I don’t see how it can protect your phone, it feeling like thin plastic. At least with the glass type, even if it shatters, at least it absorbs the hit. I doubt this thin plastic would do the same. The worst part is that this is so expensive.. worst screen protector I’ve ever used
