Terrible Quality - Broken Wheels

Absolute garbage. Wheels break after single use and Samsonite’s planned obsolescence strategy makes it virtually impossible to replace the wheels, preventing repair and forcing customers to purchase new luggage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great suitcase!

I replaced a 20 year old Samsonite with this new bag for a week in New York City so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am happy to report I love this large Spinner! It's bigger than I expected but was very ease to move around airports, Ubers and to pull off airport carousels. I had plenty of room to pack every thing I need and a few things I didn't. You should definitely but this wonderful tool.

College travel luggage

Used the medium sized luggage for only about a year and a half traveling back and forth from my college town to my home. The last time I came home the zipper popped open and split the luggage open while in the luggage was in the carrousel. If I hadn't put the zipper lock in place, it would have fully popped open and I would have most likely lost all of my belongings. Definitely not as high quality for the price, and something I wouldn't recommend buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this case a couple of days ago, spacious, zippers smooth 10 year warranty for repairs ,closed. And buckle compartment

I just got this pretty luggage at the recommendation of a friend. On my first trip with it, I checked it at one airport and picked it up two hours later at our destination airport and the zipper pull was missing. This is not inexpensive stuff! So disappointed.

Stood The Test

Frequent Flyer here. I’ve had one for over a year that gets checked and transferred twice a week. Excellent durability! Would buy again! Only one issue. Bag handlers tore a zipper pull off. Can you help me with a replacement? Pic attached.

Low Quality product - refrain buying it.

I have been using Samsonite since my childhood days and regret to inform you that quality on Samsonite products have gone so bad that it just doesn’t make sense to pay higher price and get low grade product. We bought large & medium Freeform spinner set that on our first trip got scratched all over like a 5 year old product. These are not small but big scratches all around these bags. To be reasonable I would accept some scratches over time and many uses to justify it, however just using it once and dealing with ugly looking product after paying good money is not acceptable. Yes, checked in luggage doesn’t get handled well compared to carryons but that is the reason we buy Samsonite luggage. If they are prone to scratches so easily then I think this should be mentioned on the product information booklet, so one can avoid buying those. I think there might be better products from other companies that we will consider over Samsonite. Thank you Samsonite for losing our trust in your brand. Really disappointed. PS: still under 1 year warranty

Exterior finish does not hold up well.

I have the black set and while they're nice looking, well made, lightweight, and offer superb protection, the exterior looks absolutely TERRIBLE after just one trip. After going through airport baggage handling the suitcases look like they're 10 years old. The finish is somewhat smooth, yet has a slightly rubbery texture so it attracts dirt, dust and debris. Scuffs and scratches appeared immediately. I have other Samsonite hardside luggage that is almost 10 years old but still looks better than this. For the money, I'd purchase another set with a more texture exterior finish. Very disappointed.
