It's a shame that this is a Samsonite!!!

The bag's zipper tore before the first use!! Was not even used once at an airport then, but unfortunately this happened a few hours before my flight so replacement or repair wasn't an option. I had to wrap it up several times with the film at the airport to be able to travel with it! Nevertheless, it is scratched so badly, I can't even imagine how it would look after multiple uses or if it was used unwrapped. We were loyal Delsey customers, and this time wanted to "take a step up" so we paid a big premium for a much worse quality bag. We were never disappointed by our other bags, and we are very very frequent travelers. If I were Samsonite I would be ashamed of having produced a bag like this, and I see that the same faults are repeated over and over with many customers. A replacement wouldn't be enough because I just don't want another one of this bag. Disappointing!!

Cons: Bad Zippers, Poor Quality, Tears Easily, Terrible quality, no scratch resistance, zippers

The suitcase is only 20", not 21". When I called to return it I was told that I would have to pay for return shipping even though the description is incorrect

Great features, but gets scratched like crazy

We bought this luggage during our trip in Las Vegas. Overall, the quality is great and it has many cool features for a traveler. However, one unexpected drawback is that the outside gets scratched extremely easily. We bought the purple one and had one flight where we checked it. After a single use, the luggage seems like we have used it for 10 years. It is full of scratches with minimal use. We love Samsonite, however, we believe that more care should be given on details like that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The handle broke on first use

We bought two of these Samsonite Freeform carry-on for a trip to Italy. One of the handles bent and does not move up and down very easily. We expected more from Samsonite.
I thought this was warrantied, but apparently it has to be sent in to be inspected by the repairs department before they decide if its a manufacturer's defect. Needless to say, thoroughly disappointed.

Worth the extra cost

We have taken this luggage on a two year multi country trek and it has held up beautifully. The outside gets scuffed an, but still looks good. It has protected our contents and are easy to maneuver. It has been from Africa to Europe and the US and everywhere in between.
I would recommend this to a friend!
