Modern. Superb Carry-On.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Freeform 110 Carry-On Spinner by Samsonite is impressive. From an aesthetic point of view, this is a gorgeous piece of luggage. It is on trend, sleek and stylish. The mint green color is beautiful, eye catching in a good way. (The recessed metal Samsonite logo plate is a nice added touch of style) The interior is just as stunning. A black and gray flower pattern that is bold, chic and polished. Mint green zippers are the perfect contrast against the silky like, black and gray material. There are multiple zippered pockets for your belongings, a divider to keep things organized and an elastic cross ribbon to keep things in place. I can easily pack for 4/5 days and still have space left for things I may need to add. Being a hard side carry-on, this is extremely lightweight at 6.5lbs. The 360 spinner wheels make it super easy to push/pull over carpeted or hardwood/surface flooring. It is so smooth. There is a push-button handle that slides up/down effortlessly. Also top and side carry handles to make moving this about easier. The TSA compatible combination lock is built in on the side, and is straightforward, no keys to keep track of. I simply love this carry on. It is perfect for me. I have to be extremely careful with selecting luggage, after having shoulder surgery it’s imperative. I need a piece that is functional, lightweight, and easy to maneuver. This is exactly that. The top notch aesthetics is a welcome bonus.

Too tall to meet carry-on limits.

Nice bag, but an inch too high for latest carry-on requirements on most international flights, primarily because of the large wheels.

Low Quality product - refrain buying it.

I have been using Samsonite since my childhood days and regret to inform you that quality on Samsonite products have gone so bad that it just doesn’t make sense to pay higher price and get low grade product. We bought large & medium Freeform spinner set that on our first trip got scratched all over like a 5 year old product. These are not small but big scratches all around these bags. To be reasonable I would accept some scratches over time and many uses to justify it, however just using it once and dealing with ugly looking product after paying good money is not acceptable. Yes, checked in luggage doesn’t get handled well compared to carryons but that is the reason we buy Samsonite luggage. If they are prone to scratches so easily then I think this should be mentioned on the product information booklet, so one can avoid buying those. I think there might be better products from other companies that we will consider over Samsonite. Thank you Samsonite for losing our trust in your brand. Really disappointed. PS: still under 1 year warranty

Exterior finish does not hold up well.

I have the black set and while they're nice looking, well made, lightweight, and offer superb protection, the exterior looks absolutely TERRIBLE after just one trip. After going through airport baggage handling the suitcases look like they're 10 years old. The finish is somewhat smooth, yet has a slightly rubbery texture so it attracts dirt, dust and debris. Scuffs and scratches appeared immediately. I have other Samsonite hardside luggage that is almost 10 years old but still looks better than this. For the money, I'd purchase another set with a more texture exterior finish. Very disappointed.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Stylish

Interior dimensions are FALSE

I am extremely disappointed to discover that the provided interior dimensions are FALSE. I purchased this specifically to transport a computer case that 20" long and 21.5" tall. The interior length of this luggage is AT MOST 19". However, it has lots of inward-pointing protrusions that cause the usable length for fitting a solid rectangular object to be at most 18". The corners are also cut diagonally, so the depending the thickness of a rectangular prism object you want to fit, the usable length might be up to 4" less than that. This luggage is useless for the purpose that I purchased it for,
