Scuffs and Scratches After One Trip

I bought the medium and large Freeform to use on our trip to Hawaii. The two suitcases are scraped, scratched, gouged and look awful after one airline trip! I bought the burgundy color thinking it would not show marks but I am certainly beyond disappointed. I will only use these two pieces for car trips as I don’t think they would survive another trip through baggage handling at an airport. I also had problems with the locks! I would recommend not buying!

Unsatisfied with Quality- damaged on First Use

Very unsatisfied on this purchase. On the First use the TSA lock hook broke.
We have previously retired our old Samsonite and purchased three of the Freeform design. One broke on us on the first use. Our previous Samsonite lasted 10 years with just normal scruffs all around which is normal but never had issues on the zipper lock. Perhaps it’s how the lock hook is designed on the TSA lock.
Not very happy about this considering it’s only the first use!

Handle broke

I bought the carry on last year and used it on 1 trip. This year I went overseas (taking the carry on for the 2nd time) and as I as my son was taking the carry on, the top part broke and he got hurt pretty bad and one of the rods that is pulled pierced him. He had to run to airport and get first aid.
I was a big fan of Samsonite but this experience has left me torn.

Not just this, the zipper of my 29" inch opened as well as he was coming back home.
Very disappointed as I swore by Samsonite s.
