[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the pleasure of using the Samsung The Premiere 4k Ultra Short Throw Triple Laser Projector (LPU9D), and I must say it exceeds all expectations. The image quality is stunning true 4K resolution with incredibly vibrant colors, even in a well-lit room. The ultra-short throw design makes it perfect for smaller spaces while still delivering a massive screen experience. What really stands out is the rich, crisp sound from the built-in speakers. I didn’t expect the audio to be this immersive without additional equipment.
The setup was surprisingly easy, and the smart TV features are a huge plus. I can stream my favorite content directly without needing an external device. It’s the perfect all-in-one solution for those wanting a home theater experience without the hassle of mounting or cables everywhere. My kids call it the “Wall TV” and they love the immersive experience when watching their favorite TV shows. It also looks great without the need of a high end projector screen!
Whether you’re a movie enthusiast, a sports fan, or just love streaming content in the best quality possible, this projector will not disappoint. It’s a premium product with premium features well worth the investment. Highly recommended!

True RGB Triple Laser + 3450 Lumens HDR = Laser TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung's The Premiere 9 is the absolute cream of the crop – True RGB triple laser? Check. 4K? Check. Bright? Check! Dolby Atmos sound? Check!
The Premiere 9 ultra short throw projector is able to display a huge up to 130” picture on your wall or optional ambient light rejecting projection screen that can light up the entire room!
In movie theatres even, laser projectors are typically dim, but The Premiere 9 is able to get as bright as most modern TVs. I enjoyed the big screen viewing experience even during the day and my room, even with curtains drawn that aren't even blackout curtains gets tons of light. Even with an overhead ceiling light on, it wasn't a problem for The Premiere 9 - it looked fantastic! Gorgeous, vivid colors that were bright and you can tell the contrast was awesome - allowing me to separate the darks from the lighter areas of the image without being washed out. Laser TV is the term that's being used around nowadays for USTs that are bright enough to be used during the day – and Samsung's The Premiere 9 fulfills this role exceedingly well.
Something else that blew my socks off, was The Premiere 9's gaming performance. Games are demanding, being so dynamic and I was simply not expecting it to be this bright and sharp! I tested an Xbox Series X & PS5 connected to it, and fired up a few games and wow is the best exclamation I can use to describe it. Colors in games are typically exaggerated VS films and boy, they really let the projector stretch its legs. You can also really see the benefit of the .66" DMD chip over the smaller, less resolution .47" chip in gaming, as the 4K output on the Series X and PS5 look breathtakingly crisp and clean. Even non-4K content got upscaled using an AI chip and it looks so sharp and clean. Having a full Game Mode suite of features like ALLM, HGiG, Ultrawide View, and 60fps, the projector has smooth & flawlessly fluid motion and displays games at their max fidelity. Meanwhile the OS of the system has literally every app and didn't lag at all.
The built-in 2.2.2 speakers provide a very capable audio output if you don't have a dedicated sound bar or surround system that you can use with the eARC. Clear, loud and detailed audio is always welcome, especially in a pinch - it's only 25 lbs and portable - take it to a friend's house!
All in all I'm beyond impressed and blown away by this ultra short throw projector and would recommend it as paramount to anyone looking for that huge home theatre wow factor!

Easy Setup and Incredible Performance

I can simply turn it on, and it functions just like my other devices, seamlessly integrating with Amazon, Spectrum, movies, and other apps.
Setting it up was a breeze, especially for someone like me who isn’t great at setting up media equipment. My screen is 120 inches, and the projector image fit perfectly, with only minor adjustments needed for the legs. One of the best parts was how easy it was—basically, all I had to do was plug it in. The picture quality is crystal clear, far superior to my old projector.
