Hard to figure out

The functions of this device are not intuitive. The button sequences and uses are difficult to master and nearly impossible to do while ridding. Routing ahead of time on the Garmin Connect phone app is difficult to do. There is the ability to use another app called Trailforks that offers more functionality. It seems that for everything to work well you have to have your cell phone with you. If I am going to do that why not just mount my cell phone to the handlebars and use the apps directly?

It works good. A little bit bigger than Edge 530 but it present improvements.

Significant upgrade from the Edge 130 Plus I previously had. Maps are great, screen is visible in all conditions and it does everything I want in a cycling head unit. Highly recommend

Charging cable does not have a USB port

I love Garmin products. I’m sure this will be a great device. Unfortunately, I just oprimes the box and found my charging cable does not have USB port.

Good reliable cycling computer that is easy to use with long battery life. Used in Europe for a 10 day trip and it saved our bacon several times

Not as easy as it should be

I've owned this device about 8 months. Overall I like it and find it useful. The side buttons are a bit difficult to use with gloves on. I have uploaded several custom routs. Unfortunately, this requires a desktop or laptop computer where I would prefer to use my phone or tablet. The battery life is excellent, approximately 10+ hours. The screen can be difficult to read when wearing polarized sunglasses. I have it paired with the Wahoo heart monitor strap as well as the Garmin cadence sensor. Both work flawlessly.

I already had the 130; this model is even better but the set up is not as nice as the 130.
