So Far, So Good!

I have ridden with it about 3 times. I am getting used to manipulating the screens while on the go. Lots of data available which is nice!

Great price for the features. I didn't want a touch screen, and I got a lot of frills for a pretty good deal compared to the competition. Some menu options can be a little challenging to flip through while cycling, but overall a great product.i love how this also seamlessly connects to my Garmin Varía. Also as someone who has had a crash while using this, the emergency features do work. 7/10 overall only because of the menu interface difficulties, which probably won't be a deal breaker for most.

First bike computer. Love it. Works great, so much info. Easy to customize. Have a different rear radar and tells me when it needs to be charged.

Other than taking a bit to remember which button does what thing, this cycling computer is great. Has all the functions you want, intuitive displays, and awesome battery life.

Improved Fonts

By far, the biggest improvement of the 540 over the 530 is the improved data screen fonts which is bigger, more bold, and much easier to read

Great Budget Cycling Computer

Pros : Great price for all of the ride tracking metrics.
Battery life is great, 12hr ride and still had over 30%
Turn by turn directions on bike paths and some trails (lags sometimes) I still use Trailforks on my phone for trail navigation.
Notifications of sharp turns/known hazzards on bike paths/roads.
Cons :
I upgraded from the 510 due to age and battery life, however
navigating with the buttons is really slow and non-intuitive, where the 510 the touchscreen was standard. Once you figure it out what all to click to navigate, it's still slow but you know what to expect.
It's 100 more for the touch screen option, seems steep being it was standard on the 510.
Syncing with MTB Project to get the trails on the device is still a bit clunky, but is cool once you figure it out.

The buttons and features take a little bit to become familiar with and make me wonder if I should've gone with a touch screen version but purchasing as a bundle is really convenient.
