We decided to buy an air fryer because we were having our kitchen gutted for a full remodel and wanted more than just a microwave for fixing meals during the time we would be without a kitchen. So many friends and family raved about their air fryers it was already something we were interested in getting.
We bought the Cuisinart air fryer based on Consumer Reports and other site reviews along with the fact that it had air fry, roast, bake and broil capacities. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do. First, it really cooks fish, chicken, hamburger, and pork chops really good, better than in the oven or pan frying. Second, it definitely keeps the smells of cooking, down. I had stopped making hamburgers because frying them smelled up the entire house for hours despite having an industrial sized hood over the stove and a state of the art air cleaner in the house. I’d decided if we wanted a burger, we would go buy one. And then the salmon: perfect, pork chops: perfect. I did buy two good air fryer cookbooks which I think is essential in order to learn what temps and times to use for the best results, along with providing some good recipes and ideas.
Lastly, and almost most importantly, the absolute ease of cleaning this air fryer! Quick, easy (and no, I don’t put any part of it in the dishwasher. Why bother when it takes minutes to clean?) I sop up any grease that has filtered through the cooking plate with paper towels and then clean the cooking plate and the basket with soap and water. Takes maybe 5 minutes max.
In my new kitchen I have a large pull out shelf under my new 36” cooktop and I’m able to store my air fryer, my large Cuisinart Food Processor and my large stand mixer so that all I have to do to use them is to lift them up to the counter. I do put the air fryer on a large cutting board to protect the counter top from any heat generated.
I highly recommend this air fryer. It’s a truly useful piece of cooking equipment that offers a healthier way to prepare many foods.

I have been looking at a one drawer air fryer options for a while and couldn't decide whether I need one. Well, I am extremely happy with this model since I purchased it about a month ago. It is used almost daily by my sons to warm up snacks, broil hamburger patties, fry bacon, grill cheese sandwich, you name it. And because disposable liners are quite affordable, I purchased those to minimize cleaning. I also roasted veggies which came out amazing. I haven't baked or cooked larger meal yet.

I chose a basket fryer rather than toaster oven type for smaller size and I don’t need a lot of extra features other than air fryer. It makes the best roasted potatoes and vegetables with little oil and cleanup is a breeze. My favorite was bone in chicken thighs with carrots and potatoes!!!

This new unit was a replacement for an 7 year old Cuisinart air frier. This is a major improvement over the old unit. It’s easy to clean, easier to set up for what you are going to cook, and the smaller size looks better on the kitchen counter.
