Excellent Chipper & Outstanding Customer Service!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gets the job done! Powerful engine ensures a smooth and uninterrupted operation! I was able to mulch almost everything I threw at it without any issues. The price point is well matched with this wood chipper's quality. I have used my unit for over ~20 hours as of today and I've already replaced the engine oil after the first 5 hours of use, and still delivers outstanding performance and reliability.
Furthermore, the best part for me was the customer service that comes with the product. They answer all questions and provide top notch service accommodating all your needs. That is rare to find nowadays!
Tip: when you assemble the product, don't overtight bolts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Know what you want it for

Glad I got the 5 inch throat. I have only used it for blackberry Vines. Wish it had a self feed roller like the Vermeer 1000xl. Those are safer otherwise you have to be really conscientious of how far you put your hands down. The blades are extremely sharp and will cut anything thrust down there without a problem.
The pull start is pretty stiff if you can get an electric start it would be nicer.
Remember 5 inch throat doesn't mean it will handle a 5 inch diameter branch. Maybe it would if there were no side branches to cause it to hold up in the throat.
Overall it's a good machine for small garden use.
I only wanted it for my vines and the occasional small diameter branch. For everything bigger i have a couple of real wood chippers. One 12 and another 18 inch throat with autofeed rollers. Oh and make sure everything is cleared out of the chamber before quitting. Doesn't matter how big the chipper. It will jam otherwise.

Powerful Chipper

The woodchipper arrives in a box style crate and is well protected. I am impressed with how sturdy and well made the chipper is. It takes anything I throw at it. It does chip wood up to 6" thick. Softwood like pine is no problem, harder wood like oak takes a little time, but it will do the job. Assembly is geared toward mechanically inclined, but there is a good video to reference on the website. Once I get it setup, I was happy to get it going.

An absolute beast of a machine! This woodchipper can handle everything I put in it, but not everything, you have to read the manual of what not to put in the woodchipper. Everything that is allowed just gets eaten and spit out like it's nothing.
The woodchipper can be handled and moved by hand. It has 2 great handles on the feeder shooter that allow you to move it where you would like with ease.
The machine is well balanced and it's so awesome to have a pullstart and electric start on this!
It can be towed behind an ATV or UTV with a ball. It would be great for ranches. There is a speed limit on this woodchipper and the wheels are made for off-road. They have great grip to them and have been through a lot!
Oil changes are simple and give you different options as to angle at which the oil can come out.
I love the safety features on this. The kill switch on the feeder shoot is a must have. I have never had to use it, but it gives piece of mind just incase.
The feeder shoot is long, if I were to be pulled into the woodchipper I would have the kill switch plus I can't even reach the bottom to the blade and I am 6'5.
I wouldn't go with other woodchippers, you have found the best and I am an All-power customer for life!

Happy with this wood chipper - but needs modification to prevent clogging

Overall, I am really happy with this wood chipper. I am using it to make a wood chip trail through a wooded area in my backyard. Pros: Easy to move around - especially like the handles on the chute, and the large wheels, that make it easy to move around. Engine seems to be good quality. Cons: I was having a major problem with clogging in the outflow chute. I found the problem for that... the wood chips were not getting thrown up all the way out of the chute (the chute had about one foot of metal on the underside). Especially wet branches. The chips were falling back down into the cutting rotor and clogging it. Once I realized this, I cut off the bottom part of the chute, as seen in the photos, using a metal cut off tool (angle grinder). So now the bottom of the chute is free to disperse the wood chips and this totally fixes it and I have not had clogs since. If anyone else buys this I highly recommend to do the same. And I would recommend the manufacturer to also modify this outflow chute to prevent this problem. One other con - The marketing says this cuts 4 inch branches - but I have not had luck with that... they do fit in the chute, but I feel the cutting rotor (whatever it is called) is not capable of chopping up that size of branch. Other than that, I am really happy with it so far. My wood chip trail is coming along nicely.

It really chips real good

It's strong enough to do do what it is supposed to do. The technology is good however, the sheet metal work needs improvement, which has no influence on the functionality of the machine. Also the placement of the emergency button has to be placed differently because it's easy to trigger it by mistake. All in all at this point, I would buy it again.
