Disappointing

I was looking for some solar garden lights for my front yard flower bed and came across the Matley Solar Garden Lights. I liked the black matte finish and the height was perfect as the lighting would be situated within a flower bed that had large hostas. I understood that the lights were plastic, not metal, but was disappointed in the quality of the product when it arrived. In addition, the light cylinder had wide unsightly seams flanking two of the sides while the remaining sides had large white lettering (not removable) indicating what was the top for the light and bottom for the stake. This was not in the photos that I could see. I wound up returning them. I have been a customer of Lamps Plus for years and appreciate the wide and varied selection of lighting to choose from. Regretfully, this was one of those rare times in purchasing from this company that it was a miss for me. The Customer Service representative was very nice, experienced and professional which made the return process a quick and painless from start to finish. While this lighting did not work out for me, I will continue to buy from Lamps Plus should the need arise.

It's hard for me to say anything bad about what this company sells. I've always had a great experience. These lights, however, are plastic, and the frosted lens prevents any real strong illumination. They do stay on through the night, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. They took it back without any question and I ordered a different style.
