Great product. Cat house is very stable, heating pad is perfect. We're using it inside right now for an arthritic cat but will move it out once he gets use to it.

Looks very good, keeps our stubbornly outdoor cat warm and dry in the very wet and cold winter. We love him and now he has a safe warm home to his liking.

Great product with just two caveats

I like the shape, the size, the easy one zipper assembly, the material the exterior is made out of (rip-stop nylon) and the material the insulation inside each wall is made of. Mine doesn't need to be waterproof because I have it in a covered porch area. It's one undesirable feature from my perspective is the fact that it has two entrances/exits. I would prefer if it had only one. I covered the rear exit because I didn't want wind passing through the unit. The one component of this product I am skeptical of is the heating pad, which is powered by a very small (3" x 1.75" x 1") transformer that steps the voltage down to 12 volts. They probably had to do that to get it rated for outdoor use, but I am skeptical that the heating pad this unit came with will last very long based on a combination of others' reviews and the fact that the heating pad is rated at 12 watts and the transformer it comes with is rated only slightly higher at 18 watts. However, this wasn't a big drawback for me because I already had a different 12" x 15" heating pad that I had bought separately. I'm using that instead of the heating pad this unit came with. One nice thing: a lot of heating pads seem to come in 12" x 15" size and that size fits perfectly in this unit.

Great cat house for an outdoor cat

Will rain get into this if it's placed out in the rain? Yes, the little roof hangs 2" over the 6" front and rear openings allowing the rain to get in. The roof will repel water but it will need to be placed in a covered area. Will the cat house collapse if a cat jumps on top? Most likely yes, it's built out of firm fabric, not wood like a cat tower. That wouldn't hurt the cat house but you might need to pop it back into shape. I think a 5 or 6 lb cat might be ok climbing on it without folding it in though. The heating pad keeps a perfect, warm temp but not hot. I've only tested it down to mid 30's so far but it's definitely something a cat can stay warm in.

We bought this house for our outdoor cat to sleep in . We keep the cat house in our garage and Jag, our big black cat, loves the heated cushion. He looks so cute peaking out of the house every morning.

Cat wasnt happy with it at first, but with a heating pad and blanket she loves it. I had to place a flap of cloth in the front and back so wind wouldn't get in. Over all well built and easy to break down. Good for those whom have indoor/outdoor cats that want to stay outside more then inside...

We have a feral buddy who has adopted us.We live in New Jersey by the sea and it gets windy and very cold,so I bought this hut for him.At first he didn't go in for about a week then he got used to it and now uses it every night :) It's best to use in an area with some kind of roof, especially in the rain because the openings on both sides do not have any kind of doors. The heating pad is warm but not too hot, perfect temp.I am very happy with this product!!
