Good house for the price

Went together fairly easily. Only issue was with one screw not aligning well with one of the side shelves. I had to back it out and try again. I only had to place the cat in it a couple of times before she found the heat pad I also placed in it and now she can be found sleeping in it every morning. I have it under a covered porch and cannot speak to how well it would work completely in the open, nor to how warm it would be without adding the heat pad. Completely satisfied with my current setup.

Holes aren't lined up.

The wood definitely splinters when screws don't go in straight. Holes aren't exactly lined up. I used a regular screwdriver because I feel like it may have ruined the wood had I used my electric. It is really cute. One of my outdoor cats uses the roof, ledges, and second floor. The other cat doesn't like the house. It may change when it gets colder. Neither are fat cats. One is about a year old and the one who doesn't like it is 3 or 4 years old. They are both 100% outdoor cats (until it gets cold enough to bring them into the garage).I assembled it with little grumbling in under a few hours with a regular screwdriver. Husfriend helped at one point. Picture directions aren't the most helpful.

I recommend you get a drill to set some guide holes for the screws.

I was impressed by how accurate the measurements and angles were; everything fit together very smoothly. My issue was the terrible materials and the terrible shape the pieces were in. Several pieces were broken, many were scuffed, there were drips of what I assume are glue/adhesive all over several pieces of the house. Considering the intent of the structure is for it to be outside (not how I'm planning to use it), the materials are not sufficient. This is unimpressive as a purchase. We built the thing and will see how it goes. Cat 1 likes it so far.

Smaller than anticipated. Not optimal for larger breed cats and wish the bottom level had two? entrances.

Very cute

Super cute but you need two people to put it together or at least I did. I wish the wood was stronger and thicker so I didn¡¯t give 5 stars but very much deserves 4 stars.

the assembly manual was confusing, had to use several workarounds. looks good when assembled, like the rain proof openable.

Looks great - we'll see how it holds up!

First off; when it arrived, everything was intact and no broken parts (good). The wood is very thin - think model airplanes. But it did assemble easily. I bought the natural wood cat condo and painted it black and white and left some natural wood exposed for accent. We did insulate it with heat reflective insulation (home depot) and taped edges using hvac heat proof tape. We will be installing a hound heater on the bottom floor. We also carpeted the floors - both levels. We do get cold here during the winter (Washington State) so the heater is a must. I do hope it will last a couple years - but for the price, I don't think I could have built it for the same amount. I give it an all around 4 stars, but ended up spending another $75 to insulate and paint.
