My cat is 13, central air is too much for her.. Because she is a big cat, cat huts were too small. This is absolutely perfect for her or any small dog. It gives her a warm and spacious place to be.She loves it

So happy to find this. Been searching online for days for something that looks cute and affordable. Our beloved Lhasa Mix is 22 lbs and when he stands he is about 1-2 inches taller than the doggie condo. Lying down it is fine and he stretches out well. When he curls he only uses up 1/3 of the interior space. Install Tips: Lay out the 4 pieces of panels first (it has stickers that says A, B, C, D) with a painter's tape so you can see how it fits together before you do the final assembly. Check the groove of the bottom panel and how it is will fit inside it. It should fit nicely without any need for nails or screws. You do need a screwdriver for the side and top panels. (screws included). Put together loosely at first in case you accidentally turned the panels inside out. It has a smell so unbox the pieces and leave outside for a few days. I placed a 19x29.5 plastic liner inside (same as kitchen liners) then padded the interior with his " dog smell" but clean blankets & kitchen floor mat cut to same size. Initially lured him in with Cheerios and left the top open so he can get comfortable. He went in on his own at bedtime the same day after going in and out of it all day. Best doggie condo I found so far. Our "19" year old puppy will be warm and comfy. The wood is thin but this is good for me so it is easier to move around. The updated design matches our home decor. It looks faintly stained with blue/gray color, depending on the light in your room. I guess you can seal it if you wanted to make it last longer but ours is indoors so I didn't. Will plan on finding doggie steps to match so he can hang out on top of it during summer.
