Quiet and efficient

The new dryer I purchased is very quiet and efficient. I love the temperature controls. No more " too hot " for my cotton knits. The towels come out soft and fluffy without using a fabric softener sheet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In my opinion, this Duet Washer needs to be mechanically red

Overall this washer looks good and does a great job when it is in proper working condition. Note: there are only two of us,m so the washer is not used hard as it would be for a family with children... We purchased it new in March and at first it worked well, but soon after started to get louder at the spin cycle. The noise at the spin cycle grew and grew until it sounded like a jet taking off. In early September the complete basket and drum were replaced because the bearings are incorporated (welded) to those large parts of the washer. The washer appeared to be fixed and was quiet for about one week and then started to get loud again. We are waiting for the repairman to return to install the new drum and basket parts that are here waiting. These parts that continually need to be replaced are practically the whole washer! These repais and parts are covered by the Whirpool warranty, but if this continues to happen, our warranty will run out and we are going to be stuck with a very large and repeated repair bill. I would NOT recommend this type of front loader washer to anyone unless it was redesigned.Another drawback is that the cycles, even the energy efficient cycles, take very long to run. The clothes ARE clean, but I think it could be done in 3/4 of the time or perhaps even half the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice set

This is my first front loading set. It's easy to use and has worked well since we have gotten it. The only things I would change about this set is the spin cycle is VERY noisy I have had it looked at and basically they told us its normal, the second thing is sometimes on the normal cycle, the dryer will say my clothes are dry and I will have to run an extra cycle but other then that I love it ! It is an excellent set and I would recommend whirlpool to any of my friends or family looking to purchase a new set

I had the gas version of this dryer in my old house and absolutely loved it! I knew I wanted the exact same thing in my new house but needed it in electric. Therefore, we purchased the same dryer (newer version + steam option) in electric and love it! Thank you!

Totally happy with the dryer. All the features are awesome including the steam cycle. It dries very fast and gently, even on low heat. No shrinkage issues even with delicate clothes. Very impressed!
