New Pal BT

I had a 15 year old PAL that lost its mojo. I kept it in my bathroom and listened to news and music while getting ready in the morning. I needed to replace it and went with the new model PAL. Good reception, speaker quality. And Bluetooth is an upgrade. I take it outdoors to my patio and chill. So far so good. It ain’t cheap but good sounds are important.

It’s a decent radio to be sure, great sound, good reception, all the usual suspects, however... I do feel it’s overpriced.

The little engine that could

After 31 years operating high end audio shops , the simplicity, sound quality and steadfastness of both my Model One and now my PAL BT are a special type of thrill. Lounging in our nice yard is even more enjoyable with PAL sitting on the fence behind me, playing lovely classical music or jazz.Both signals are on the weak side, but PAL has zero trouble w/ them. Both BT & headphones are truly useful features too, PAL is a no bells & whistles unit, a true achievement in a day when you can’t buy a car without an “ entertainment center.”

I bought the yellow and black model to match my Audio Technica Sound Burger. The PAL BT is just as finely crafted as my O.G. Tivoli table radio that I purchased in the 90s (and which I still use!).

I’ve had a Model One for about ten years, bought this PAL for my partner for Father’s Day. It’s the perfect little radio and we love that we can take it camping, etc. We love Tivoli!

Very nice sound for its size and very good reception. I do wish it had AM & FM external antena connections though. It's a fine solid portable and as stylish as it is great sounding. You owe yourself one to brighten up your day.
