Family Love of the PAL

It was a gift to my brother for his birthday. I have one and love it. He now loves it too! He enjoys the Bluetooth feature and ability to be a hit at the pool in his 55+ community.

My Lil PAL

Our classical/jazz station on the public radio FM comes in loud and clear. The station is in HD FM and has an upgraded transmitter. The PAL sounds great with this station, revealing the enhanced bass , treble and midrange as well as the timbre of the various instruments and vocals. I can even get in a community radio station that is miles away. The Bluetooth is clear and sonorous forpodcasts and music app.on my smartphone. I highly recommend getting a PAL BT. You won’t be disappointed. - Liz.

We love it too, of course. But we have it on a timer for when we are gone because our house rabbit loves the sound of people talking. We come home and she will just kind of be parked in the hall listening to it. Tuner is sensitive and radio sounds great. BT feature is easy and very good as well. Great by the pool. The yellow color is fantastic.

Disappointed

I was completely in love with my last Pal. This one doesn't work half as well. Part of why I ordered this in the first place was bc of the ability to use the dial and find radio stations the old fashioned way. The percentage of stations it picks up is awful on the new model. I am planning on returning the new model and looking to have my old PAL refurbished. I use it everyday. There is also a delay when I turn on the radio of silence. I waited years to replace my old one, I'm very disappointed, I wish I felt differently. I will be calling Tivoli to start the return process.

Worst purchase in years, Sound is distorted! Sounds like speaker is in a barrel and is so bass that I cant understand what is being said when trying to listen to the news, the only reason I purchased it!Havemt had the free time to record and sent to you.

The dial switching from am to fm and blue tooth no longer works properly. You turn the dual sometimes you get a station most times nothing !!

Sounding on, not off

Love it. I had one of the (I think) original PALs, purchased in very early 2000s. It sported a really nice matte bronzey-brown and still worked perfectly. Unfortunately that finish somehow got sticky with age and trying to clean it made it worse. Bought a white one several years back for my downsized bedroom and finally gave up waiting on new colors/finishes and bought another white one. My one suggestion is that you offer it in some more muted, elegant colors as well.

PAL BT - cool little radio

Great compact radio with AM / FM & Bluetooth. Sound really good for just a mono speaker and gets great reception. Doesn't need a power source, so just make sure it's fully charged and you're good to take it where ever you might go. I'd buy it again . . . highly recommended !
