I love this little radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's something so special about needing to pan through radio stations manually and hearing the static and blips of various frequencies come in and out. Pressing a button to seek automatically just isn't the same. Plus, the dial on this is geared so beautifully and feels great to turn, offering great precision and a nice level of resistance. The Bluetooth feature is a nice addition and I've already taken my PAL to the beach :) Plus, the yellow and black combo is HOT. Wish it was a little less expensive but it's a beautiful piece of tech.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in radio and need to monitor my station-the "over-the-air" signal-not the streamed one through an app. Love: The color...the rechargeable battery (that can also be replaced)...the antenna that can fold out of sight when not in use (Way better than a wire)...the ability to aux in or out of it...Oh yeah, and I can still prove I'm not totally ancient by having a bluetooth option if I need it. Really, no stone left unturned on this design. I had a Model 1 that died so this replaces that unit.

Love PAL but hate how it does not last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and size and sound quality of the PAL, BUT two of my four died the same day. Even new batteries make no difference. It does not seem as if a radio should die in 5 to 10 years. Nothing is made well these days, and it is too expensive to fix them IF you can find anyone to do that.I ordered a new radio because I like PAL, but I am very sad about this situation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
