Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q80C TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.
You may also want to fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).
If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for:

Poor picture quality

I bought this tv to replace a projector in our media room to hopefully get a better picture. Unfortunately it is the opposite. Sporting events are almost unwatchable. Picture does not show details very well and there is a lot of graininess and motion blur for fast moving action. Would not recommend.

Great Features, Poorly Designed stand

I am writing an average review for this TV because I've gone through 2 neck stands that don't support this TV, very poorly designed, contemplating a return of this TV for that very reason, the TV itself is exactly what I've been looking for but if the current stand breaks I have no other option that to return it.

Perfect gaming tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV because I needed a 4K TV with 120 hertz refresh rate I had a lot of trouble finding one with those specifications this was the perfect choice it's excellent for the PS5 and Xbox series X I highly recommend this TV to anybody who enjoys gaming it has a gaming mode that shows your frame rate and your input lag

Beautiful Image

The feature i looked for most when shopping was to have clear midrange sound and this one is much better than our previous device. The room where we use this has a big window in the front and a sliding glass door in the back, and all hard surfaces but this TV can be adjusted so we can both see and hear without having it too loud, or looking washed out. Love it.

The picture quality is top-notch, with vibrant and true-to-life colors. I'm particularly impressed with its Adaptive Picture feature, which adjusts the screen's brightness based on the room's lighting. No more squinting during daytime viewing!
The audio is also impressive. Sounds seem to follow the on-screen action, making movies and shows feel more immersive. Design-wise, it's sleek and fits well in my living room without being too flashy.
Overall, it's a solid TV that delivers on both performance and aesthetics. Definitely a good buy!
