Quick and easy for beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am new to making espresso and this machine has made it easy to learn for a beginner. The simple button design and dial are great. The frother is a bonus and also easy to use. It comes with 1 shot and 2 shot options, a scoop and tamper. I only gave it 4 stars due to the tank not being level with the machine and the plastic used. Other than that it's great. It doesn't take long to make my favorite drink for a fraction of the price. I will be using this daily.

Recommend to anyone looking to try at home espress

I wouldn't really call it compact as similar house hold espresso machines do come smaller. The espresso does not come out as strong as I like, but it's certainly tasty. It's pretty simple to use and seems to be good quality. It would be nice if they include a small frothing pitcher.

Brews good espresso, but the power cord is too sho

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First the positive is that this brews some nice espresso for the cost. I was actually impressed. I have owned others that were pricier and the espresso is comparable. The downsides are cheaper build materials, and a short power cord. I think the cheaper build materials will be fine for years to come, but just comparing it to others, it's lighter and very plasticky. I will say the short power cord is the real hindrance though; it really limits where you can put this thing. My other espresso machines had four foot cords and this one has a two foot cord.

Cute compact machine that delivers quality and tas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive the Mr. Coffee compact espresso maker in exchange for my honest review. I currently own a variety of espresso machines including the Mr. Coffee cafe barista and an imusa espresso machine, I am no expert, but fairly familiar with pulling espresso. This compact espresso machine is very beginner friendly and comes with detailed instructions. The footprint of this machine is similar to that of my 12 cup drip coffee maker but a touch larger than my basic imusa espresso machine. It feels very sturdy and well made with quality material. What sets this unit apart, is its capacity and versatility. In comparison to other machines, the larger detachable water reservoir tank is a huge benefit, so I’m not having to refill water after every other shot, thus adding to the ease of use. I tamped my favorite espresso blend into the portafilter to pull 2 shots and the result was an incredibly aromatic espresso with a thick crema on top (my favorite part). I then followed instructions to froth my favorite salted caramel mocha coffee creamer to make a cappuccino. It was incredibly flavorful, bold, creamy, and not bitter! Cleanup was a breeze compared to my larger cafe barista, with no waste of milk or creamer. Simply wiping off and running the frother arm in a cup of water keeps the machine running optimally with no buildup. Overall I love it because it is easy to use and a much more ascetically pleasing unit to have showing on my counter space. It extracts a balanced, flavorful shot of espresso, providing me the luxury taste without the coffee shop price tag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso maker is well worth the price. It is compact as explained, and works well. It is easy to operate, even for a beginner, and effectively makes a good espresso. It is easy to take apart the pieces used to clean. My only con is that it is a little loud, but it brews so quickly that the sound shouldn't be an issue in my kitchen. I've found that grinding my own espresso makes for the best flavor profile.

Compact power!

What really blew me away is the milk steamer, it heats up and froths way faster than my high-dollar Breville machine, which I did not expect. Making lattes and cappuccinos is quick and easy, and the simple controls make the whole process totally hassle-free. The compact size makes it perfect for small spaces, but it still delivers rich, flavorful espresso like a much bigger machine.
For a small machine, this thing packs a serious punch. If you need something compact but powerful, whether for travel, a small kitchen, or just an easy espresso setup, this is a great choice. I will be putting it in my travel bus for on the go espresso! Definitely recommend!

Compact simple machine for delicious brew

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little machine is so easy to use! You honestly don’t even need to read the directions (but please do.) Truly though you just turn it on, grind your coffee, and press a button and voila you have rich delicious espresso! That’s literally it!!
I drink iced lattes in the morning so I frothed up some milk and it was so delicious.
I have used everything from a clunky espresso machine, to a moka pot, to a single use cup machine and I can say this will be my go to preference from now on. You can’t beat the taste of fresh beans and add that to a light and efficient machine and you have yourself a great start to your morning.
