Nice but a couple annoyances

I had the old school FlashXpress toaster over for years, loved it, and was pleased to see a modern version with more features and better controls. In the first couple days I’ve only baked a cake and made toast. It performs well. But a couple features really annoy me. First is the fan - it runs all the time, even for making toast. Six minutes of toasting (by default) plus three minutes of cool down. A little noisy for making early morning toast. Second is the clock. The old school unit displayed only minutes. This one has room to display minutes and seconds, it just doesn’t. Only minutes. I want to see a countdown so I know when my toast will be done. I’m on the fence about keeping it because of these quirks.

its billed as a "toaster" using the same tech as the smaller Flash Express toaster ovens but in reality it is not a toaster, it dries out the bread and never gets it toasted. It looked like a good idea, I had high hopes, but it was a failure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok, but not great.

Really wanted to like/love this appliance. Replacing a Ninja Airfryer and a Panasonic FlashXpress toaster oven. This unit is big. Controls aren't great. Doesn't do a great job airfrying or toasting. Example: no way to specify lighter or darker toast. No way to set up any presets other than the built-in functions which don't cook great. Fries came out too soft using the built-in feature. I could get it to cook fries correctly, but then I'd have to write it down because the built-in functions doesn't work well. Pizza came out pretty good. Overall, my older units worked better.

No oil, no problem 😁

It’s compact but powerful, and it has completely changed the way I cook at home. I can bake, toast, air fry, and reheat almost anything I want—cakes, cookies, vegetables, chicken, and especially fish. One of my favorite things about it is that I don’t need to use any oil when cooking, which makes my meals much healthier without sacrificing flavor or texture. The food comes out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just the way I like it. It also heats up quickly and cooks evenly, saving me both time and energy. I love how easy it is to clean too. I honestly don’t use my regular oven much anymore because this little machine does it all. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile, efficient, and health-conscious kitchen appliance!🙌🏼

It's what I'd categorize as a larger kitchen top appliance but if your cooking something bigger like a whole chicken then this size is ideal . I have a large family so more is always appreciated. I like the functions on it, easy to maneuver and get going. I like to bake simultaneously along with my oven so having a accurate toaster oven is a must . It does have an air fry setting, honestly it's an added bonus for me but not an absolute must have feature I use alot. I mostly toast and bake and need something that heats up fast and cleans up easy and this does both.

Heat up fast , lot of space inside

Its interior is super spacious—big enough to fit one hefty roasted chicken with room to spare. It heats up very very fast with dual heating elements . Easy control digital panel . Switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius if just a touch of a button ( as an Asisan I appreciate that).
One fun little thing I haven’t seen anyone mention yet is that the door has 2 magnetic strips, so when I open the door, it pulls our the tray too , I can get my food out without worrying getting burnt . The surface will get a little too hot so just be caution. When it comes to noise, it’s within an acceptable range compared to other machines in the same category. But there’s one unique thing I noticed—when you turn it off, it actually keeps running until the temperature drops. This clever little feature helps prevent you from opening it too soon and accidentally getting burned. Big thumbs up for that.

One of the first things I noticed—and appreciated—is how fast it heats up. Thanks to its dual heating elements, it reaches cooking temperature in no time, which is a huge bonus on busy days when I need to get meals on the table quickly.
The control panel is very user-friendly, with clearly labeled buttons and a dial that makes it easy to toggle between the 11 preset cooking functions like Toast, Airfry, Bake, Broil, Reheat, Dehydrate, and more. Whether I’m crisping up some veggies, baking a small batch of cookies, or reheating leftovers, it’s simple and efficient.
A standout feature is the smartly designed door with a built-in magnet that pulls out the middle tray when you open it—this small detail makes a big difference in ease and safety. The spacious 28-liter interior easily fits a whole chicken, a 12” pizza, or up to four slices of bread, which is perfect for cooking in larger batches.
The stainless steel design looks sleek and modern on my countertop, and cleaning it has been surprisingly easy. It also comes with useful accessories like a mesh basket for air frying and dehydrating, an oven rack, and an enamel tray.

Another thing I really appreciate is the thoughtful, health-conscious design: the oven’s interior is PFAS-free, and it comes in plastic-free, biodegradable packaging—so it’s better for your kitchen and the planet.
If there would be a downside on this product though, the fan of it tends to run a little loud. I'm glad my kitchen is a good distance away from the bedroom but can imagine it can wake the kids up if their room was nearby when used early in the morning.
Overall, I highly recommend the Panasonic Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo, especially if you love the convenience of air frying and need the capacity to cook for more than one or two people. It’s efficient, versatile, and well worth the investment.
