Great Looking Canopy

The shipment came in two boxes and delivered with no damage. For the assembly you need at least two people. The instructions are illustrated with no real description which putting the final pieces of the roof together we could not figure out until I watched a installation video which I recommend watching before assembling the product it will help when using the instruction booklet. Overall we really like the look and style compared to some others that were a lot more money. I would have rated higher but I feel the instructions need to be a little better in descriptions. Just a side note it took us about 6 hours to put together from start to finish.

Put together with my girl friend. Did not need her help until the roof. Trick on the roof is to slide the panels up the vertical slot and feed into the angled slot. Very nice. Had 45 mph gusts the other day and it stayed complete, I put eye grommets on the bottom of the curtains with bungee cords and hooks to hold it down in the winds. So far so good. I have the gazebo screwed into a wood base. The shims to hold the top angled pieces seems not right, but its holding fine in the winds. For the price with discount 899 its a great deal.

Great product for the price

Canopy looks amazing! Roof is a PIA to install but once you figure it out it's a breeze. I am pretty handy so it was not that challenging, took me about 5 hours to install, however this can easily take way more than that if you don't have at least a second person to assist.

Very well constructed gazebo

All the reviews are right, the roof is a bugger to set up. Its a 2 person job and ladders are recommended..
It seems logical to put the top pieces in first, but you need to slip them in AFTER the lower pieces are installed or the water will pour in when it rains.

The only time you put in the top piece first, is for the center rectangular pieces on the long sides. Slide the smaller top piece in the track and push it up until its almost all the in the track, then slip the lower piece leading edge, under the bottom lip of the smaller upper piece, then slide them both up the track to the top. It's confusing, i wish i could post a video. Once you understand it , it makes sense. If you don't do it that way, the two rectangular roof sections will leak.

The Roof Was Nearly as Hard as I had Expected

I read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of products before purchasing this gazebo. It seemed like the best value for the money. Most products were at least a few hundred dollars more. I was looking for something that had a metal frame with a steel roof. So far I am VERY happy with the end result! It looks great and seems like it will last for years to come. The installation was easy, just be sure to follow the instructions closely and pay attention to the details. I was worried about the roof installation after reading all the reviews. But it wasn't near as bad as I had expected. The trick is to install the small triangle pieces from the outside with at least a 6ft tall ladder, they slide right into place with no trouble at all. I would highly recommend buying this unit. Installation took about 6 hours by myself (I even did the roof alone).

It serves its purpose as a gazebo

Needs 2 people to assemble.Was easier to leave out 1 large piece to install the 4 small R pieces to complete the assembly Not as sturdy for the cost and the anchor plate is dependent on 12 tiny #8 screws to hold that whole structure from being blown away.

Very sturdy structure..always anchor to the ground.. the pins are not enough..
follow the sequence assemble order.. pain in the butt to install the roof.. but once you see you need to leave the lower section out 2 inches.. use the (y) pieces to hold it in place if your are installing solo.. then install the upper part.. then push together.. it will be super simple..then remove the (y) and install where they belong.. good luck!!
