Decently built but...

Extremely tippy at moderate speeds (10-12 mph+) on rough roads when near empty.
There is a shallow down hill section on the way home to my house, it's normal for me to coast and hit 16 mph by the time it flattens out. Around halfway down the slope the trailer hit a road patch (which are very common here) and flipped. In the process damaging the right front corner, tearing a hole in the cover, bending both wheels out of true (just enough to wobble) and damaging the trailer mount.

The only thing I found wrong was the tubes in the tires was not correct. The valve stems are not square to the rim. A beginners mistake.

It is a nice trailer but they could have put a bar in the middle on each side so the material does not bulge out and rub against the tires.They could also of put 1/4" foam rubber on each side of the sheet metal bottom so it would not rattle at every crack or bump on the road.They also could have put a 6" caster wheel on the front so when loaded with groceries you could disconnect from your bicycle and just roll in the house.I did all these things to it.Also you have to take a round file and make the hole bigger on the hitch to attach to bolt on your bike.Very strong trailer and you do not need the wheel guard bars.

Aosom cargo trailer only comes with extra washers for the wheel but it should definitely come with extra axles as well. They bend easily. The spring attatched to the hitch also makes the ride a bit wonky too..especially if you are carrying a heavier load.

Great Cart But...

First I want to say that this is a great cart and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. My issues are related to assembly which hopefully will be addressed at the factory. The first problem is with the instructions for the wheel assemble. Unfortunately, there are no instructions except for four small blurry photos. The assembly of the wheel is confusing. In the package there are 4 sets of flat washers, compression washers and retaining clips. Since there are 4 sets, you would assume that you would use two sets for each wheel assembly - one on each side of the wheel. The photo instructions seem to show that you only install the washers and clip on one side of the wheel which is what I did. I think I did this correct because I couldn't get the washer assemblies to fit on both sides of the wheel. It's just concerning because you have four sets of washer and would naturally think that you're supposed to use them all. I can only assume that the two extra sets are supplied as spare parts because you will undoubtedly loose one or two of the retaining clips when they pop off the retaining clip pliers that come with the kit. That brings up issue number two; Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of retaining clip pliers at the hardware store that have smaller tips. The ones that came with the cart are too big for the retaining clips that come with the cart and will drive you insane trying to keep the clips from popping off and sailing away to some obscure corner of the garage! Issue number three: The tubular frame ends where the outside wheel guards slide on and snap into place came bent from the factory which prevents the wheel guards from sliding on. They were obviously bent during the manufacturing process because the ends come with a heavy duty plastic protective cap that would keep the ends from being damaged during shipping. The ends can be reshaped with pliers but unfortunately that causes the paint to chip which will no doubt become a place for rust down the road. So, those are my issues. If you can get past the assembly, the cart will serve you well for a long time. Hopefully someone at the factory will take notice and resolve the problems.

Almost perfect

I bought this trailer because of its features. Mainly the amount of weight it will carry and the metal floor in it. Its built well. The reason for my 4 starts is because the C-clips that come with it do not have enough spring in them. When you expand one with the provided tool it doesn't keep the shape. If your not careful the clip will spring out and its then useless. I ruined the first one trying to install it. Luckily you get an extra C-clip. I was very careful with the other two clips to not spring them. I could have went to Napa and got some but didn't need to. Your provided with plastic covers to cover the end tubes where the wheel guards are but I'm one short. This is not a big deal because I'm using the guards right now.

Great product!

I bought this to clean my whole messy garage and made several trips with loads of garbage on my trailer and each trip the trailer did the job quite well. I even lugged a removable car back beat on it and it handled it quite well. Will buy again in future
