Poor quality tire/tube. One tire was herniated when inflated blew-out one week later. I like the cart so I bought a new tire /tube (different brand).

Great little trailer for hauling tools
on September 28, 2019

This trailer is really nice for hauling tools and other items. The plastic tub comes out and it has handles so you can tote it to wherever you need it to be.The 16 inch wheel look to have sealed bearings and they can be taken off easily by pushing a spring loaded clamp. The inner tube schrader valve stem is really short and it can be hard to attach a pump to that valve. The trailer frame is pretty sturdy and appears to be painter steel tubing. There were two assembly issues:There is a steel upright piece that you bolt to the trailer frame. The holes in that upright piece are not drilled perpendicular to the trailer frame. I had to modify that upright piece to get it to be perpendicular to the trailer. The other issue is that the seat post clamp is made for smaller seat post diameters. I have a 31.6 mm seat post and the clamp does not fit around my seat post. I will have to modify that clamp somehow.

It is amazing! It paid for itself in the first month while my husband got back in shape. Ladies it's a passive win win purchase. What we call a "No Brainer".

Impressive value and clever design

I searched the internet extensively to make a choice of cycle trailer. There are so many, in a wide range of prices and customer reviews , so it was a tricky decision to home in on this one. It arrived on time with all parts and simple instructions. The steel pressed spanner and allen key you should ignore and get a ratchet spanner, a phiilips screwdriver and some grease ( or vaseline) to protect water entering for the wheel hubs. Whenever I assemble something that will see the light of day and some rain I will spray WD40 on all the bolts etc. The residue makes it easier to adjust them later and to avoid corrosion in a few years time. The trailer is well made. Another customer was critical of the welding, citing the fact that two welds had holes. These holes are there to prevent condensate build up within the tubular frame and are placed equidistant at the least critical weld points in the frame - so full marks for engineering design!Assembly is intuitive and the tow bar fixing to the bike stem simple and effective. Just make sure that the fixing clamp that holds the male connector for the tow bar sprung clutch is set with enough space under the saddle to reach and press the orange coloured clutch to detach the tow bar. ( Look at my photos) Attaching ( by pushing on) and detaching the trailer is easy. The plastic container is very strong - I sat on it to assemble the frame and it did not distort at all and I am close to 17 Stone in weight! The tyres pump up easily once you have made sure the pump connector is fully tightened to the valve stem but its hard work using a sports type pump. They are small tyres so it does not take much to get them hard enough - I gauged them to 40 lbs.The cover is excellent quality and fits exactly.I am so delighted with this trailer - all that research was worth it! I recommend it to anyone who wants a robust, smart and simple bike trailer.

Took a long time researching what trailer to get. There were a few off putting reviews. Poor welding, that the cover did not fit and bolts to short. All as far as I can confirm unfounded. This is well put together, easy to assemble and looks great. Took about 20 minutes to put together and fit to bicycle. Glad I did my research, would recommend this trailer to anyone.

I modified it and changed the tires to accommodate my Notch Pro Gear tree climbing gear bag . I pull it with my Honda nm4 and yes I did install lights on it for safety . Works awesome did not take it over 45 mph and yes I put safety chains on it .

Very useful little budget bike trailer

This is a budget trailer, so don't expect top quality design or build, but for the price it is very good. The instructions are hilarious as very obviously translated into English (badly!) and don't make any sense, and the pictures are photos printed in black and white so it is impossible to see what is going on in them. Fortunately it is pretty obvious how to put the trailer together if you look at the picture of it assembled. You receive a spanner and hex key which are required to build the trailer, but you will also need a screwdriver and other sized hex key and spanner for the reflectors. The bracket is easy to fit to the seat post of your bike and the tow bar engages / disengages easily -you just press the large red button to release it.Both wheels were set up to be right-side wheels so I had to take the tyre off one and put it on the other way round before attaching the wheel (there is a rotation arrow on each tyre in case you're not sure which way the tyre should go). You will need a pump to the inflate the tyres. The reflectors are rather flimsy, and feel very vulnerable as they stick out quite a way from the crate -I don't give them long before being smashed so I am getting some reflective tape to put on the frame. I am also going to make a couple of little flags to make the trailer a bit more visible to other road users. I also need to put a bit of padding on the tow bar as when the stand is locked up it bangs against the bar with every bump in the road -hopefully this will cut down on some of the noise it makes. As this is a very basic trailer there is no suspension of any kind, so everything inside jumps around a lot in transit -make sure you put the cover on so that nothing jumps out!All in all, I am happy with my trailer...I could afford it and it does the job. It's not the most comfortable experience towing it (we have lots of speed bumps round our way!) but it enables me to cart all my kit around without having to drive.
