Perfect for visually impaired

I bought this thru Lighthouse of Pinellas, an organization for the blind and visually impaired. I use it when I go out to dinner so I can see my food. I love it but the side light quit working . It's not the batteries. I'm a little disappointed and don't know how to fix.

I love the new led task light. It weighs a lot less than my original and it is operated by batteries and/or ac transformer (sold separately). I also plan to buy more for gifts to family members.

I bought this light for a family member who is losing her vision. The light provides the needed illumination to complete tasks around her house when it is dark. She is thrilled that she now sees better in dimly lit areas of her home.

I have bought this lamp for years...

This lamp has gotten better over the years. I bought my first one more than 5 years ago and either from breaking it myself or giving it away to envious friends I've probably have bought about 6. This latest version is better built and the hinges are better engineered. Cheers!

To the person who rated earlier. I've had one of these for years and I DO NOT use it on battery power. The usage on battery power is limited. I did use it during a multi-day blackout, but had to change batteries every few hours, but blackouts are rare in my area. I do use it as a portable tabletop reading light, and I bought a separate power supply to do so. Since I probably won't be allowed to mention another web retailer, just suffice it to say that the website has six letters, begins with the letter A and ends with the letter N. Search for the following item, it works perfectly with this light as the plug-in power supply.
