Not worth the headaches and money

The assembly of this light is not easy or straightforward - and the connections are the worst. Especially trying to get the tubing secured to the base. I finally got the lamp assembled, however, the odd and confusing connection between the last tube and the gooseneck / light section still isn’t secure or aligned - in total, the whole thing looks crooked and gapped. Really poor engineering / design for such an expensive light. The light itself is bright - but have no use for the dimmer - would have sufficed to have just a couple easy to set levels. Plus, the touch switch isn’t easy to find quickly - purely a visual reference, no tactile design, and you sometimes have to fiddle with the touch to get the brightness you want. 71” height is misleading - measure at 71” only when the lamp portion is vertical. Overall dissatisfied with this item - so many weaknesses and design flaws in one product - expected more from Ottlite for my money.

Waste of money

2yrs ago , it has begun to only light up to a dim light. When checking how to replace bulb found out it is not replaceable! So disappointed! Now only option is to throw away, totally a waste of money.
