I liked the sleek design, reminded me of alien laser weapon in the 1953 War of the Worlds movie. Also liked that light was adjustable LED although I wasn't certain about touching the control five times to run it up the scale of brightness back to off each time I used the lamp. That turned out to be a non-issue because I use the lamp for long periods of time and turn it on and off maybe twice a day. I do like the ability to keep the light dim first thing in the morning when my eyes are sensitive to light and later step up the brightness as needed. The three color settings are also useful for making the lamp output comfortable for the user.
I have not fully utilized the tray, yet it does appear sturdy and the base of the lamp is also heavy enough so both could support a hefty manuscript or book. The points of adjustability require tools. Tilt on the tray is not adjustable. The only shortcoming is its useable height is limited. It can be raised no higher than the bottom of the control pod and it clears the dining room table where I work by only about three inches. That's not enough for phone and other desktop items. If you need it lower, the tray can be dropped down to the top of the base..

I can’t say enough how much I love my light! I purchased this based on other reviews including the “do not disturb others in the room”… I can knit without impacting the other people in the room watching tv. Light is spectacular for knitting! I already want another for my other living room!!

Great floor lamp! The light is nice and bright and I like being able to adjust the brightness and the temperature of the light. My only complaint is that it can be a little bit wobbly at times.
