Very impressed!

We bought this unit for our basement. The air is pretty clean but it completely got rid of the usual musty basement smell. 10/10 recommend!

Air doctor 5500 sensor is great

I was sleeping and all of a sudden it went full air speed and after about 5 minutes is went down. I was glad as I have no idea what blew in from the heating system.

Top-notch air purification

I’ve been an Air Doctor owner for several years. Started with the 3500 in our main living space but now own each model and have them placed through our entire home. We live on a dirt road, have pets, and three children. The peace of mind of clean indoor air is priceless!

Air Doctor 5500

We really like our new Air Doctor 5500. It kicks on anytime there are unusual smells or dust in the air.
It’s very quiet.
There is a blue lighted circle on the side of the machine indicating the air is clean. If that light changes to an orange color, it speeds up the fan for a few minutes to clear the air of whatever it is sensing. Then is slows back down to its very quiet blue light. Mine is on casters and easily rolls in any direction. It’s a nice-looking grayish white that stands about about 2. 5 feel high.
I would definitely recommend it.

Not living up to the hype

Purchased 4 air doctors after seeing so many holistic providers recommend them on Instagram and hearing positive reviews. I have to say, I'm not as bowled over as I expected to be. The 5500 is WAY bigger than I expected and I honestly hate how much space it takes up, but it was the recommended size for our open concept living space.
Also, our home was found to have mycotoxins via testing so we expected the air filters to kick on high speed immediately filtering the air, but no. In fact, the 5500 has yet to detect "bad air quality" and the indicator has only ever been blue. This is puzzling to me. The only time our other Air Doctors show a red indicator light is when I'm cooking. Otherwise, blue light all the time.
It's honestly impossible to say whether they are making a difference so who knows.
Not trying to knock their product. I'm simply reporting our experience and it has left me feeling a little oversold on these products and regretful of the $$$ we spent on them.

Absolutely Love!

My husband and I have waited years to get an Air Doctor and we are so incredibly happy to finally have one!!! We recently found out we have a minor case of mold in our house, and the Air Doctor has helped so much with the musty smell in the air, as well as keeping the mold from growing until we can get it treated.

I wish I would have purchased sooner. Have been using after new flooring installed and it has helped so much with the strong glue smell. The air is definitely clean feeling, even my teenage son walked into the house and said, “ The air just feels so crisp and clean.” And he didn’t even know I had plugged the air doctor in.
