Super Quiet

We have had the 5500 for over a week and are VERY impressed. We have a couple 3000s and one 1000. The 5500 is the quietest of all despite its size. Based on years of effectiveness, I am assuming it is doing its job even without any noise. We have a Great Room and an atrium 3 floor space in our house so we needed a big boost like the 5500 especially with cooking smells in the Great Room. So far we love it!

I opened the box and the directions for set up were very easy to understand
I was plugged it in on kept the setting on Auto like instructed

It turned on and it was that easy!!
I was amazed at how sensitive it was when I swept the floor around it!
It kicked on and cleared the dust quickly going back to the blue light when completed

Normal operation is quiet, revs up when it has an odor/smoke to deal with (like when we pop popcorn :)). Can tell it is circulating air, we have 2 Saint Bernards in the house and the air is now much fresher!

Takes up too much space

I purchased the 5000 for our open main floor. I should’ve read the specs better— I didn’t realize how big it was until I received it. I also didn’t realize until I read the manual that it needs to be placed a foot away from a wall in either side. This really limited my options of where to put it so that it wasn’t taking up a bunch of space in the middle of nowhere.

I have several Air Doctors and love them except in the cold winter. The air blowing out is like air conditioning. This is true of other brands also.

Got a terrible sickness the morning after

I woke up with the scratchiest throat, and I never. Get sick , I 100% do not reccomend ANY air purifier does the opposite ! Uhhh i can’t even believe that happened. I think it was ozone poisoning. Please save yourself and don’t buy one
