Quiet and efficient

We have had our Air Doctor for about a month now and we are very pleased with it. We have dogs and a wood stove, so we definitely needed one. I was impressed with how easy it was to set up and get running. It is super quiet most of the time on auto setting. When it kicks into high gear to purify the air when there’s smoke or cooking for, it goes for about 10 minutes and then all is quiet again. The air feels so much cleaner, and we are very happy with our purchase.

What I am most impressed with the 5500 is how quiet it is. I have had the 3000 for 5 years and decided to upgrade to the larger model for my open concept area. Well worth the investment for clean air in my home.

Too big and heavy and very noticeable

I didn’t take it out of the box when I saw the size of it. Unfortunately the white colour stands out too much in our home. Black is much better to blend in with decor other than in a medical application.

High expectations

After all the research thought AirDoctor was the best choice. There is most definitely a difference in air quality. But effectiveness getting rid of stubborn cooking odors isn’t living up to my expectation. Sauerkraut (most recently) AirDoctor on midrange setting - hours to eliminate.

So far I cannot tell a difference in the dust, have had it for only a few weeks.
I did have to turn the air Dr around so as not to be disturbed by the blue light, which is very intense in a dark bedroom.
