I’ve only had this unit for about a month so I don’t have long-term experience. So far. I’m very satisfied. It seems to keep the air clean and is very quiet which is very important to me.

Loud and cold

It just runs too hard. The low mode should be imperceptible. Instead, it can be heard from another floor in the house. And the amount of air it moves makes the room drafty. When it kicks into high, you’ll think the unit is malfunctioning. I’m compelled to wait with it until it returns to at least medium speed to ensure it doesn’t overheat. I have since seen competitive units that are not noticeable in a room. Also, the volume of emails that are received after this purchase is unacceptable. For something that needs filters once every six months, two emails daily from aren’t necessary.
