Very good product and a real bargain

This is immensely helpful in my furniture restoration business. I put casters on this unit so now I can elevate and move heavy furniture items around my shop easily. It's great being able to adjust my work height as the project requires.

I'm very pleased with this product. I did not have any issues with the hydraulics, or instructions. I was also pleasantly surprised about how sturdy the stand is even at full extension.

Not Just For Motorcycles

I don't own a motorcycle. I got this because I needed something that could raise and lower a stand for a portable table saw. This does the job just fine. My one criticism--and why I deducted a star--is that while it came partially assembled, it came with no assembly instructions for the rest of it. So I had to figure out for myself how to get the pump handle properly attached. (hint: you have to remove a cotter pin to release the handle assembly, then re-attach it) Now, I realize that this is not something based on rocket science, but come on guys--what may be obvious to people who work with these things all the time is not obvious to those of us who don't.

Should have bought one years ago

I'm very impressed with this motorcycle scissor lift. The stand does wobble a little bit in the fully extended position but it's nothing to be concerned with and the bike is not going to fall off because it is secured via the foot pegs. It easily rolls under the frame of my KTMs and then you just pump it up to your desired working height. It is easy to roll around the garage with the bike on it in the fully extended position yet the rollers provide enough resistance to prevent unwanted movement while working on the bike and that's without using the locking feature on two of the casters.
The unit I received was in good condition (no scratches). It is a true 36" tall in the fully extended position which is actually a little high for most routine maintenance. It comes with a long rod that can be installed in multiple positions to prevent it from falling unexpectedly during use but this is purely a safety issue and not required ... I've had mine sitting in the garage for weeks now and the hydraulic jack doesn't bleed down slowly which lowers the bike.
In the end, this is a great tool with a lot of value for the money. I'm getting older and this is going to save my back ... I'm just upset I didn't purchase one years ago.
