I wanted a soft case that resisted sliding off my truck seat, knee or out of my hand. The hard clip works with the phone facing in (protected) or out (visible). I don't use the hard clip, preferring a vest pocket and screen towards my chest. It fits the pocket.

This is the only case I will use on my phone. My last phone was in perfect condition after 6 years, so when I upgraded my phone, I had to go with another Otterbox. The protection is outstanding.
