Durable case, hard to install and take off. Slick materials, slides around easily on smooth surfaces and feels like it will slip out of your hand easily. As far as drop protection it looks like it has protection in the right areas on the corners and edges to protect the screen which you'll need as slippery as this case is. Will go back to the defender series case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good case, doesn’t come with glass protector. When using one hand operation and resting phone on little finger, charging port area rubs finger causing irritation. Some other cases have the area tapered for a more comfortable fit.
