[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this Presto® FreshDaddy™ Automatic Electric Vacuum Sealer to my son who is an avid fisherman. He has been using this vacuum sealer to prepare his fish for the freezer. He told me it works great. He will need to get more bags soon! Hopefully, they are easy to get.

It is very easy to use, I like how you can store wet ingredients or dry without messing up the machine and it saves so much space in the freezer. Now I can buy meat in bulk and vacuum seal and put up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gone are the days when I had to make my food fit the bag. With FreshDaddy, I make the bag fit my food! It’s so easy to learn to use. I had never used one before and within ten minutes I was completely literate about the machine. It is not overly complicated, and it gets the job done. I love that I can buy in bulk and vacuum seal my family’s food better than the local supermarket. I’m very pleased with the vacuum sealing itself. You can also, simply make a baggy for snacks or a sandwich, even if vacuum sealing is unnecessary! It’s a money saver for sure. The money I will save buying meat and other foods in bulk, as well as the money I will save on plastic resealable bags. All the wasted space goes somewhere and that somewhere gets exorbitant after while. I can think of no greater gift than FreshDaddy for your kitchen. Even nob food items! I sealed my phone in a bag of silica gel the other day because I had dropped it in water. The possibilities are astounding!! I can even season my food while it’s being stored!

It's got a knack for locking up the cover with just a gentle caress, but, oh boy, it's equally eager to pop back open if you dare touch it again. It's like the cover has a mind of its own! And positioning those storage bags? Well, let's just say it's a delicate dance you'll need to master. The manual suggests using your knuckles to keep it in check, but I found myself chasing it around the counter instead – a little game of vacuum seal tag, perhaps?
Speaking of quirks, that shiny chrome open/close bar is a fingerprint magnet. Seriously, every touch leaves its mark, like your very own secret fingerprint diary. 🕵️♀️
Now, here's the twist - this vacuum sealer's secret weapon is its built-in scale. Say goodbye to guesswork when dividing those bulk meat packages! I used to rely on my instincts, but now I have a nifty scale right at my fingertips. It even lets you switch between ounces and pounds, and there's a tare button to zap that container weight to zero – it's like magic!
And speaking of magic, this FreshDaddy can cut bags from a roll with its portable bag cutter. Think of it as a razor letter opener, although I'll admit, I still prefer my trusty scissors for a cleaner cut. Old habits die hard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not sure how this product would stand up but surprisingly, it has help up pretty well. the vacuum seal feature works great when it comes to the bag with the vacuum seal. When it comes to the plastic roll that sits inside the electric vacuum sealer, it is easy to to cut the portion of plastic needed for the food item being placed in the bag. You can seal the ends of the bag, but you may have to seal it twice and wait a few seconds so it can cool down to make sure the bag is sealed properly. If you want to seal the bag, you can place the other end of the bag that is not sealed, and click the 'vacuum seal' button. You will see that it will vacuum seal the bag with your food item in it. Very sturdy and your food item will stay fresh. That is what you want. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants there produce, meats, dry foods, and so forth to stay fresh for a good amount of time. Plus the price is very budgetary.
