Great strarter

Got this set up for our son last Christmas played it a bit then stopped for a while was angry i cant play im done ,Then weeks latter he picked it up again started playing its like every second he could ,it was like dont touch my guitar , meanwhile he is ripping up some ACDC songs and maiden i was like wow so it did the trick we wanted to see if he would play and he does we r actually selling it today as to encourage him ,got him a ibenez he love it but he still goes back to the lyx its like he needs to say good buy to it ! I say go for it !

Defective instrument

This guitar is very defective the screws holding the guitar neck are loose . minus ten stars for Best Buy here I was thinking if I bought one from a trusted source I wouldn’t be duped like the last time i bought one on Amazon seven years ago but I guess I was wrong

It's a good set for bigginers

I would say that the gutar itself is good quality I like the strings and how the frets were put in, I really liked the tuner aswell and that fact that it come with as instruction manual is really nice. During shipping it was packaged very nicely. The only problem I have with the package us that it doesent vome with a capo and the fact that it's sort if pricey, since i dont actualy have a distortionpetal clicking the boost button gives mostly the same effect.
The gutar picks are good. It also came with q coupon for 6 months free for lessons. As a bigginer gutar that bought this hoping to learn guitar on it its pritty good but I would recommend eventually upgrading the amp since it's good like it's a 20w amp but there isn't a large amount of options on the amplifier. The cord is decently long. The gutar looks really nice. The knobs are really nice. It was difficult to take of the plastic cover of the pick guard forcing me to take off the knobs and putting them back on to do so. I would also reccomend getting some kind of stand so your gutar doesent fall over when you lean it somewhere overnight I got the moveable standing gutar stand from Amazon. The shipping only took a week and a half for me.
