I bought this for my wife and her girlfriends to play with while they were on "girls trip" together. They all loved it and the software! 3 of the other 6 ladies on the trip have already purchased their own Sprocket for Christmas gifts!

I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion. SET UP: I opened my HP Sprocket Printer and was surprised at how easy it was to unbox and set up. I was able to have a photo printed after 5 or so minutes. The instructions were basic and easy to read, which makes it easy to use for any individual. I liked how you could customize the lighting on the printer to a color of your choosing. You are also able to customize and change your photos on the app previous to printing. The HP Sprocket Printer prints very quickly so you hardly have to wait. PHOTOS: Although the photos came out fast, I was very disappointed with the quality of them. I felt the coloring was not close to the original photo. I was expecting excellent quality as the photos are only 2x3 inches. I have no use for photos that are that tiny. After having a few to put on my mirror I ran out of ideas of what to do with these photos. They are too small to put in a picture frame, which makes makes spending money on this printer very impractical. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I was highly disappointed with this printer as it seems very impractical to me. The quality lacks and the pictures are too small to do much with. I would suggest that you could customize the size of the photos you want. I would also suggest that the color quality be better. With a photo that small the colors should be bright and detailed. I also wish it would print using bluetooth so I wouldn`t have to add another app on my phone as I already run out of space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is SO easy to set up and use! Download the App, charge the printer and you`re good to go! I had it installed and printing within 5 minutes. It`s small and will be in my purse from now on! Imagine you`re at a special event you take a selfie with the guest of the night and have the ability to print it on the spot and hand it to them!? It is wireless, super easy to reload paper and you never have to change ink. Not only that but the app itself is amazing! So many options for editing your photos, and you can create a friends group to share photos as well. You can customize everything, all the way down to the color of the lights on the printer itself! Get one! You won`t regret it! I have the paper that turns your photos into stickers! My daughter already wants to take it to school to take photos of her friends to print and stick in her locker!!

Fun Instant Printer

The printer was smaller than I expected. It was compact enough to go into my purse or my daughter`s bag, so we took it almost everywhere. The charge lasted about a week of our intermittent use before we needed to charge it again.The setup was surprisingly painless and quick. Putting the printer on the charger turned it on automatically. The app initiated pairing with the printer as soon as I was creating account. The calibration paper fed through through as soon I put the pack of paper in. I did have a hard time locating the printer with my bluetooth later on. It wouldn`t show up on available devices, but if i went to print it connected on it`s own.It printed out the pictures within seconds. I used the embedded experiences feature, which did lower the quality of the picture (as the manual advised). It looked lighter with less contrast then the app reflected, but I just adjusted the color in order to use the feature and get the same quality prints. I was prepared for a little less quality due to the size, but without that feature the pictures were good quality and color. The details were reflected just like getting them printed at a store.The size is not as large as a typical printed picture. I would`ve liked a larger size and I wouldn`t have needed the sticker option. Since they were smaller, I used them most as an actual sticker.The printer wouldn`t be ideal for me, as I prefer to frame or put pictures in an album. I`d love if they had interchangeable sizes to print. My teenage daughter finds a reason to use it constantly though. I wish we`d had this for her birthday party a few weeks earlier! I know it would`ve been a hit.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion:Installation: The installation is fool-proof thru the Google Play Store on an android device just have to search for HP Sprocket App and click install. Set-up of Software and Printer: The setup process for the app and printer was amazingly simple and frustration free. Accessing your photos was a breeze especially since the app has integrated access to your phone gallery, Instagram, Facebook, and Google account photos. The latter few of three you with just a few taps you can sign in to each account and the app pulls your photos with simplicity. The app automatically checks for any updates to the app or printer firmware making up keep of your device quite elementary.The printer already comes assembled. The only other thing that you have to do is pop off the top real easily and install the paper pack with the blue bar codeed card down.Features:Are you someone that likes to relive your greatest memories? I am and I thoroughly enjoyed the reveal feature. Its fairly easy to access this feature as well. When you are looking in or at any of the gallery options just click the "Cube" icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen or app. Once clicked it will have a moving hexagon in the middle of the screen. You can center any photo print in the center of the screen. It will then bring up a pop screen showing you all photos that you took on the date that photo was taken. You can enjoy a few laughs as you scroll thru your photo memories with ease. The edit feature is quite user friendly. You can change the brightness, contrast, add text, small graphics, borders, etc. I especially like the different filters that allows different colors within the photo to pop.Cons:I know this is supposed be a mobile printer, but I wish you were able to print at least up too 3x5 photos.Quality/Overall Impression:The product is quite sturdy. I was quite surprised with how small the product is that it was built with such great quality and design.My overall impression if I was giving this item a star rating is a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this mobile printer and the app and how easy it was to use. I would definitely recommend this to any of my family and friends.

Very Cute, Convenient, & Easy to Use Mini Print...

I was overall very impressed with the HP Sprocket printer. The set-up was very simple with easy to follow instructions. The app that goes along with the printer takes up a lot of memory on your phone, requiring it to be downloaded via Wi-Fi, so be aware of that. The app itself is also very easy to use and straight forward. I really enjoy the option of adding quotes/words and the adorable range of icons and frames to add to your pictures before printing. My only issue with the app was repositioning and changing the size of the added words and symbols, it seemed that they were too small for my fingers to really pinch and move them to where I wanted. The printer itself has LED lights with easy to understand meanings, including the option to customize what color you`d like your sprocket`s light to be. The time it takes to print is impressively fast from when you hit print on your phone to when you have the photo in your hand. I love the tiny size and shape of the photos, however I wasn`t totally thrilled about the quality of the pictures themselves. Even after printing a 4K resolution photo, it still came out a little blurry and unclear. Basic "selfies" and a picture of my dog all came out very nicely though, I just wouldn`t recommend using this printer for detailed pictures like landscapes. I understand this is a relatively new technology to have such a tiny printer instantly print photos, so with that understanding I`m very impressed with the overall quality of the product.

Fun and easy to use printer

Set up/Instructions: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I was impressed at how easy it was to install and use. I installed the app on my phone, followed the instructions, charged the product, and it was ready to go!The product itself: The printer is small, lightweight, and comes with a charging cable. It`s not small enough to put in your pocket or anything but it doesn`t take up too much space and can easily fit in a backpack or book bag which is nice. Printing: You can customize pictures from your phones camera roll, use filters, etc. The printer paper is small and the back peels off so you can use it as a sticker if you want. It`s a fun way to print photos at home. I will definitely continue to use it.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.What a fun little printer! I love that I can print small pics of anything I have on my phone. The instructions are simple and the set up was very easy, took about 5 minutes max, including time to download the app. I like the look, it`s sleek and very easy to take around. The quality of the pictures could be a little better. They seem slightly faded, but they are still pretty good. You can only print when the printer is plugged into a power source, so you can`t really print "on-the-go", which would`ve been a nice feature. It also would be nice to have a carrying case for the printer so it doesn`t get scratched or nicked. It only holds 10 photo papers at a time, so make each photo count! Overall, it`s a fun product! If you are sentimental or just like having small photos it`s worth it!
