Just finished installing this built-in range hood. I love it!
The baffle filter is super heavy duty and look very nice. We like the suction power and noise level.

Always had doubts about the performance of a built-in hood until I switched to the Hauslane In-R200! This will be a revolutionary moment, I got rid of my microwave when I remodeled and replaced it with an Insert Range hood to make my kitchen look fresh. Indeed, no more fumes to make me weep when I fry a steak, while its low noise level makes cooking while watching a TV show possible. The Baffle filter is also straight out of the dishwasher, making my life simple and easy!

The Hauslane range vent is super quiet. I like that the filters are small enough to put in the dishwasher. It fit perfectly inside my custom made wooden hood from etsy and was the one recommended by the decorative wood hood maker.

I'm really digging this Ress range hood! Putting it in was a piece of cake—even for me and my not-so-handy wife. We followed the guide, and boom, done in an hour. The cool thing is how it hides in the cabinet, making our kitchen look slick.
Compared to my old microwave range hood, this one's a total beast. It kicks out serious power, keeping our kitchen fresh every single day. I know there are other options out there, but if you're like me and practically live in the kitchen, this is the perfect sidekick. Totally worth it!

After months of searching for a hood that would work for our kitchen I found this one. The price was very very reasonable and I really like the fact that the motor has a lifetime warranty....hopefully the company won't go out of business!!! It seems to have plenty of power....the lowest setting is very quiet and you hardly notice it is on. The middle setting is probably what I use the most and then the highest setting is very powerful and a little noisy but nothing that isn't bearable. I love the lights too! I think the trickiest part of the installation was building the frame for the hood to hang in. This hood was not made for an island but that is how we are using it and one of these days we will get it enclosed and it will look just fine.
The reason I didn't give it five stars is because I have only had it for about a month so I really can't say how it is going to hold up in the long run.

Quiet AND powerful

Love this range hood so much! It’s so quiet at level 1, you can’t even tell that it’s on. And as someone who cooks a lot of Asian food, level 2 is very effective. The other day I cooked steak and had the vent on level 3, and my husband couldn’t even smell it from three feet away. That’s how powerful and mighty this range hood is!
