Need a new one

I own a Sony Vaio VGN-NW250F purchased in 2009 and it still works. Running Windows 10 with no issues. Need a new computer, I'm thinking of SX14, maybe for Xmas.

Very good 14 inch ultrabook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the outside, the new SX14 doesn't seems like a huge upgrade over the 2019 SX14. The story is flipped when looking at the motherboard inside as Vaio has changed nearly everything about the hardware from its cooling solution to the ports and processor. Users are not only getting a faster laptop with even faster graphics than before, but the newer model manages to integrate both a larger capacity battery and more copper heat pipes to compensate for the higher power demands while maintaining a very low weight of just 1.1 kg.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good 14 inch laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SX14 plays in an incredibly competitive league—lightweight 14-inch laptops are the backbone of business computing and attract power-user consumers as well—and it has several good points, but not enough to stand out. While it can't match its rivals' offerings of 4K resolution, the VAIO's 1080p touch screen is attractive, with adequate brightness and good contrast. White backgrounds are crisp white, helped by the ability to tilt the screen back as far as you like—all the way to flat, even, where pressing Fn+2 flips the image upside down for viewing by someone on the far side of your desk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

4.7 stars!! This thing is reliable, smooth, and works well with good battery life. Typing on this is great. The size is perfect. With 16 cores and 22 processors this thing runs pretty smoothly. I am impressed. Vaio is back with this one.
The only issue I faced is that I had to turn of fast boot 🥾 as for some reason it wasn't letting the keyboard driver load correctly.
Other than that one issue and getting used to the right shift key placement everything has been glorious.
