The standing desk converter is PERFECT. It&s absolutely what I needed since I already had a desk and just added a walking pad underneath it. The converter works when I&m sitting and is easy to adjust when I want to stand. The one handed operation is smooth and there is plenty of room on the surface for my 2nd monitor and my laptop. Nothing to put together and I had everything in place in 5 minutes.

We have a number of competitor desk converters that are heavy and awkward to move. The 28" Alcove Riser is small enough to fit on this side table while feeling secure and stable. Best feature is that there is a predrilled hole to install a monitor stand.

It is unbalanced. Had to shim one corner so it would sit flat. When I type standing up, the whole stand shakes a little. Have to be very careful using it while standing.
