I like my FlexiSpt AlcoveRiser M7 very much
on February 23, 2022

The FlexiSpot AlcoveRiser M7 is exactly what I expected. I was worried about the size of its footprint on my desk and if the height would be right for me (6&2"). It works perfectly and I am very satisfied with it. The up-and-down mechanism is easy to use, even with a coffee cup on it. One of my monitors (I am able to have two monitors on it) shakes a little while I am typing, but it is not a major issue. Also, the minor shaking is a function of the nature of the monitor because my other monitor does not shake. I also worried whether I would need extensions on all of the cords (monitors, keyboard), but they are fine in the up position. All except my camera--I must use the desk for zoom calls in the down position.

Seems to do the job.

Nice size for two monitors and pleasant to look at. Also it wasn&t outrageously expensive. Seems solid though it wobbles slightly if I put my wrist or arm on the platform. When ordered I was told that the platform for the keyboard would raise independently of the platform for the monitor but it doesn&t.

Really love this riser. Easy to setup, fit my gear well. Easy to raise and lower-- even the cat goes along for the ride.

Good product for the price

For the price I paid, it is a good desk. My only complaint is the base is twisted so it does not sit flat, but rocks a little depending on how weight is distributed.

Love this standing desk. It&s durable and goes up easily. I had purchased a different product but had to return it because I had to struggle to get it to raise. Not an issue with this one.

Recommend 100%

Very easy to use. Sturdy. The standing height for me is perfect in comparison to my desk height. You can adjust to any point in between the lowest and highest setting which is great for when you want to sit up and look up with good posture while sitting. Recommend 100% Two smaller monitors fit nicely. Two large monitors may feel less secure.

I love my AlcoveRiser Standing Desk Converter M7. The quality is very good and at a good price, but most of all I can stand at my computer throughout the day without being hunched over. I feel like I&m getting a good workout.

"Standing Up" for FlexiSpot...
on April 12, 2023
Posted by: Pieter B.
I have been using the FlexiSpot AlcoveRiser Standing Desk Converter M7 for a few weeks and find that it meets my needs; I am very picky. At first you need to remember to use it in the standup position, then after a while you need to remember that it is okay to use it sitting down once in a while. Standing up has helped with back fatigue and also makes it easy to just walk away, for a break, from a project that you are immersed in, which just might be helping me with creativity. I plan to purchase a quality mat in a few weeks, which I anticipate will further enhance my favorable experience. This desk converter is rated to hold 33 lbs, enough for my 24-inch monitor, a Mac mini, two portable external drives, a Bose SoundLink Mini, keyboard and mouse, leaving ~10 lbs to spare (see photo of my setup). For me, raising and lowering the desk converter is an easy, natural and safe movement while standing or sitting. I am six-feet tall and the up position meets my needs with several inches up to spare. In a market where there are many choices, the best advice that I can give is that I see no reason not to buy this model if its size and price point is right for you; if not, FlexiSpot has several other model to choose from and my assumption is that quality should not be a problem with any FlexiSpot standing desk-converter model.
