After working from home for a few years, I realized I absolutely needed a standing desk to avoid total blobification. Black Friday sales convinced me to pull the trigger, and I am extremely happy I did. This desk converter was extremely easy to assemble (just slide the keyboard tray into place and lock it in) and works GREAT. The hydraulic system is smooth and I am easily able to raise or lower the stand throughout the day. The one thing I would note is that the “color” is a veneer, but that has no relation to functionality. I just wish I had gotten this sooner!

Mostly good but I wish the keyboard tray was lower or adjustable

I really love this sit stand desk. I can easily shift the desk from sitting to standing or any level in between while keeping all of my equipment on it. It literally takes a couple of seconds. The base is heavy and sturdy so I have no concern that it will tip over. My only complaint is that the keyboard tray is only about 4 inches lower than the main desk and is not adjustable in height. This means that I cannot really achieve an ergonomic position, because if the keyboard is at the correct height for my arms, then the monitor is too low and I have to look down at it. I ended up setting my monitor on top of a thick book and securing it so it doesn&t tip off. This is inconvenient, but it gives my monitor enough height so that I don&t have to strain my neck.

perfect for small desk except..

I also bought this over another more expensive item. Its very sturdy, exactly what I needed. One small criticism. The keyboard tray does come off, but would be much more helpful if it could slide under to get out of the way. It sticks out pretty far and I am not going to take it on and off. Its fine, but would be better product if tray was more moveable.

While it boasts a 32

While it boasts a 32 in wide surface, that is just the maximum width of the entire platform. The area where you put your keyboard and mouse and rest your arms has a much smaller width. I forgot to pay attention to the distance between the two hinges that connects the lower platform to the upper one, so now my keyboard is fighting with the mouse for space in the lower platform.
